    I found this...:

A new action fantasy set in a steampunk Tokyo from the creator of the smash-hit Soul Eater!
The city of Tokyo is plagued by a deadly phenomenon: spontaneous human combustion! Luckily, a special team is there to quench the inferno: The Fire Force! The fire soldiers at Special Fire Cathedral 8 are about to get a unique addition. Enter Shinra, a boy who possesses the power to run at the speed of a rocket, leaving behind the famous “devil’s footprints” (and destroying his shoes in the process). Can Shinra and his colleagues discover the source of this strange epidemic before the city burns to ashes?

Same. A bunch of very underrated supervillain scientists and inventors banding together and possibly pulling out a major win, or at least holding their own, against the more recognized genius heroes and villains? Sign me up.

DC had a good idea w. Oolong Island as a think tank for some of their cheesier mad scientists. I’d love for Marvel to do something similar, as they have a ton of science types from the 60s-70s.

I remember that one from the 52 weekly series explaining what happened during the one year the DCU skipped ahead after Infinite Crisis finished.

It was one of the cooler ideas that came from that, imo!

I’m going to combine my two favorite runs of the last five years or so. Spider-Woman by Dennis Hopeless and Ant-Man by Nick Spencer.

    Spider-Woman- Team leader
    Ben Urich- Administrator
    Porcupine
    Ant-Man-Scott
    Stinger-Cassie
    Beetle- Janice Lincoln
    Whirlwind
    Grizzly
    Machinesmith
    Magician
    Hijacker
    Voice
    Ms Thing- Darla Deering
    Giant-Man- Raz Malhotra

Jess would have her hands full with this team. Scott alone would be hard to handle. Plus a love triangle between Scott, Darla and Janice could really be explored and cause plenty of friction in the group. Jess would have to whip them all into shape. This would be a fun team. As for team name? The Gerrymanders. A play off of Jess’ son and the fact that there are plenty of manipulators on this team. A team that doesn’t play by the rules to get things done.
