I also thought long and hard about a Marvel character with traits like Rex... the closest I came was Husk and her "skin shedding" power, and that led to an Outsiders build stacked with mutants! lol

I seem to remember using Absorbing Man for Metamorpho for a similar roster once.

Thanks! Shift from the Winick run was actually a "piece of Metamorpho" that became sentient on it's own, or some such like that... I used Absorbing Man for him under the same logic as you using him for Rex lol. that being said, I usually use him for DC's Amazing Man, whose powers are the exact same as Crusher

I had forgotten about that. Moondragon also helped Hellcat unlock her "latent" telepathic abilities in recent issues of Iron Man... but that's so new that I want to see how Patsy uses those abilities before I use her in a telepath position.

Though not exactly regular humans, Sersi and Mantis are both Avengers with some kind of telepathic abilities (Mantis started out just an empath, however her appearances in GotG show full-range telepathic powers).

well, Mantis is in space with GoTG these days and I wasn't sure if her telepathy upgrade was still intact as I haven't been reading that book. I'm a big Sersi fan but I like the Eternals in their own corner for the most part... I also figure Druig would make more sense than the others if I was going to include an Eternal as the team telepath
