I was checking some previous pages of this thread and it surprises me to see people blaming Jean

I think it is important to be clear, Maddie went crazy and died, Jean had no obligation and still adopted, took care and loved Cable. How is Jean a bad person in that case?

I'm ok with Hickman's dialogue for the most part, but it is stiff in places. It doesn't excitement like some past X-men writers, like Morrison for example. Each character should have a distinct personality and voice and hopefully we will see more of that in the issue or at least as the series goes forward.

After reading the book, I think suffers more from stiff art than stiff dialogue. I expect to see more people say characters are out of characters in this book but if you look it honestly these characters should have been acting more like this but that is something to be discussed when we can talk about spoilers.

I loved the book, loved the characterization (esp of Scott and young Nathan) and the wild new lore, which is clearly going to be very important and which many likely won't care about and will criticize because it's very weird, but which I find fascinating. I agree Yu is the wrong artist for this one especially. Isn't Larraz supposed to be doing an issue soon?

Were there any others in this issue besides Cyclops, Prestige and Kid-Cable?

The Visions are supposed to be robots though.

Found this week’s releases kind of underwhelming after everything so far.

Hox/Pox was so good. Its like Hickman stopped trying with the daioluge. lol. I liked the content of the issue however. Especially the last 4 pages. Its time for the deadbeat dad to take care of his children

It wasn`t good at all. Art and dialogues are bad. X-Men shouldn`t be Cyke solo or Summers family adventures. It contradicts what are X-Men to me.

Sad about it because I really loved HOX/POX. So far X-men for me has the lowest quality of DOX books.

There is really no reason for only 3 people to go on this mission when Krakoa has an abundance of able bodies. Have Lorna, Monet, Mags, etc go see what's up. The mission is important enough to warrant more than 3 mutants.
