Kid Cable doing it doesn't bother me as much as OG Cable doing it would have. He's a lot closer to the age when he'd remember Scott and Jean raising him as Slim and Redd, so it doesn't seem so odd that he'd lean more into that parent-child relationship, despite being a fully capable fighter in his own right.

I wonder if this will lead us into why Cable decides to go off with Kwannon. He seems pretty content so far. Maybe his big sister calls him a jerkface so he runs off crying and runs into Kwannon, instantly falling in love with the sexy ninja. Teenagers.

It happened several times in early XFactor and it was disgusting. Keep in mind mentally disabled people are often victim of domestic abuse from their partners who find themselves in situation of power.
