I want to see them in the middle of a heated game of Uno, played the right way, when players can stack cards that are alike.
I just don't find Cycloos-based dynamics interesting. This preview here with Rachel and Nate is a bit corny in a cute and pleasant way. I would just leave it at that as opposed to what was alluded to by Fluffy and seen infinity times in the past: popular characters show up just be grief for the main character's infinite angst.
preview looks interesting but reading this thread is insane didnt know how crazy the whole Scott and Jean relationship is. I dont even want to know whos in the right or wrong
"He's pure power and doesn't even know it. He's the best of us."-Matt Murdock
"I need a reason to take the mask off."-Peter Parker
"My heart half-breaks at how easy it is to lie to him. It breaks all the way when he believes me without question." Felicia Hardy
I know it's hard to get any conversation going thanks to the drama related to a certain underappreciated/persecuted telepath, but I'm kinda amused no one's laughing at/lamenting the prospect of the Summers clan partly imploding after their very first outing.
I mean, this whole thing will end up with either Scott being a whiny bitch over Nathan being too much of a psychopath and sending him on timeout or Nathan being a whiny bitch over Scott not being enough of a psychopath and taking a break from all that "You can't just kill everything, I don't care what your mom -either of them - would say" nonsense, right?
I'll get the requisite 'fallout with actual progeny/stuck with other deadbeat's offspring' joke out the way and rather marvel at the epic Scott/Jean "What do you mean, you wouldn't let my baby kill everything???!!!' off-panel argument we'll never get to see because Cyke will be to busy riding dinosaurs or whatever.
I actually don’t think anything bad will happen to set up FA at all. I don’t think there’ll be any falling out. I think Nathan will be drawn into Kwannon’s mission for other reasons.
Sorry in advance if I’m right!
Idk though the creator of FA kept saying the theme was "characters uncomfortable with Krakoa" and all that. It doesn't sound like just another mission that would have no bearing on the characters involved or their stance to the status quo. We'll find out, I mean I doubt in XMen2 a ginormous drama can be told between Kid Cable and Cyke but I would assume SOME kind of foreshadowing has to go down.
Forget the old ways - Krakoa is god.

The preview of X-Men#2 looks quite cool.
Leinil Francis Yu art looks especially great in this preview, very cool that he is the artist of this comic book.
I love this art actually, and the dialogue actually works for me cause of how I always read the Summers clan, plus I feel the slight unease to the dynamic is on purpose.
But I think my favourite part is all the continuity porn. Jeansus, those references are so hawt.
