I don’t blame Jean. Rachel has always been a whiny brat.
Interesting preview. Some much needed family bonding.
I agree with some of the others. The dialogue doesn't seem that smooth; it reads slightly clunky.
"This is starting to sound like a bad comic book plot"

“Evil is evil...lesser, greater, middling, it's all the same."

And dropped, I thought it was just the first issue, but between the dialogue and the art I think I'll get my fix from the reviews on this forum.
A father taking his kids out on a mission to fight monsters in a death trap island. It's just so beautiful.
Can you think of a more fitting way for the Summers family to bond?

I'll give Jean a pass on Nathan. She did raise him and she's not the one who jilted Maddy.
I love Rachel but trying to make them close has never rang true for me.
Jean was actually badmouthing Maddie to Scott, calling her a terrible mother while Maddie was looking for his son who got kidnapped by the Marauders. After which she sacrificed her life in Dallas to save the entire world. Scott is the main culprit of course but Jean was awful through the entire ordeal and played her part in Maddie's downfall.
