The face panel on the first page is legit supposed to be Betsy. I didn't realize either but it's the same panel used for her on the roster page.

Goodness gracious I would love it if Magneto addresses or acknowledges that Betsy killed him.

I think Betsy and Kwannon are supposedly both struggling internally with their place in Krakoa and thats why the inner monologue flows from one to the other. But where is this supposed to fit in relation to Excalibur?

Never thought I'd be this excited for a book like this lol it will be glorious

On a side note, all the previews except X-Men #1 had pages a bit closer to the mid section of the book. I wonder if this will be the case, and the book will start on a breakneck pace, or if there will be a couple more pages to ease us into this scene.

Yeah the first page is gorgeous then the dream sequence looks meh.

Im a little bit concerned abt the relevance of this book tbh. Smallest cast, least marketed and the plot seems the most removed from Krakoa statu quo. Its a little reassuring that "the voice" mentions humans evolving themselves.

To me, that's a perk; I'm not very interested in the whole Krakoa thing, to be honest.

I'm so excited for Kwannon. I don't know if I've ever felt so energetically pumped for such a minor character, but I'm almost proud of her that its her time to shine.
