Was Ghost Rider overshipped? Pretty high ranking for a book barely anyone talked about.

Well, it was a first issue. Retailers might have anticipated a higher demand in advance.

It is a really, really good book, though. I hope GR fans support it. I do think, though, that the X-launch left little oxygen in the room for anything else.

Cool to see Spawn hanging out in the Top Ten two months in a row. Good for Todd McFarlane.

300th issue which had a lot of variants and may have brought some readers back on for a bit.

The top five is so hilariously what you could predict almost 30 years ago. And all of those books were sold at higher than average price, these companies did well in hitting the market.

Full rankings with actual units sold are now out:

I get the feeling that Ms. Marvel is going to get a relaunch next year to coincide with the Avengers videogame release, because Saladin Ahmed's run hasn't been charting particularly well.

Think they'll also launch a new Avengers book with her back in the team? Might be why Champions hasn't had a relaunch announced yet - her exclusion would be a spoiler.

well books now need external sources to survive even outside of the book's quality or the character's popularity

maybe a video game and tv show can in 1-2 years manage to bring the book back to it's decent sales like it did with captain marvel... well atleast temporarily.

Avengers, Savage Avengers, Silver Surfer Black and Captain Marvel all went up over the previous month. Fantastic Four beat Avengers and Justice League.

The second issue of Web of Black Widow dropped sharply.

Between that and her being an Avenger in the cartoon, I could see that happening again.

Pretty sad when Batman is outsold by Immortal Hulk. Not saying the Hulk comic is bad because I've heard it's outstanding. But Bats is DC's flagship title and it's bombing hard.

I think y'all are overreacting considering they've hardly been advertised since release #1 Strikeforce is doing relatively well. It's not like the title really has big names to draw people in, even still I give it at least a good 25 issues and 5 TPB's
