Dragonball M, Chapter 4: Kidnapping! Invasion! A new Threat Strikes First!

Sasheem suddenly feels....sick.

A warning and then he feels something attempting to absorb him.

"Huh...what did..." Sasheem began to hold his head, feeling drowsy. "WAIT! Shit! No ya don't!" Sasheem shouts back. "Ain't so third rate now if you're trying to absorb me, huh?! Well here's a surprise for you!"

Sasheem used his Mystic Materialization to summon a dresser in front of him, a pair of shoes, and bale of straw. Each item produced by Mystic Materialization would detonate once in contact with magic. Sasheem quickly dashed out of the way to avoid the brunt of the explosion before any hit him.

The blow ripples Auroc and sends part of him blown backwards, slightly exposing an odd dark crystal. The body reforms and he back hands the old Nevadian away.

“It begins.”

Voyavoda is blown backwards, his neck being-momentarily--broken by the backhand, as well as his jaw. However, before he even hits the ground, his regeneration had healed the damage. Catching himself, he slid to a stop near the entrance to this grand hall. Before the backhand, he had caught sight of some odd crystal.

'Comrades, there is... something, a dark crystal inside of Auroc. I cannot say for certain, but I believe that crystal may be vital to him. Try to expose and attack it.' he conveyed through the mental link that rather imposing woman named... Inanna, he believe, had set up. The Queen Consort of the Saiyan Empire, if he was not mistaken.

Centering himself, his flaming aura burst into existence again, then compressed as he activated his Nuova Phoenix Armor--a technique that would both mitigate damage and further improve his physical strikes. With the characteristic sound of Ma-Tobashi, the space between him... and the knight attempting to stab that Earthing in the back with a spear disappeared, and he delivered a Phoenix Eye Fist strike directly to the small of the knight's back.

The door swings open. No one seems around. Inside is a bar, and there are still drinks on the tables. Old now, as if those drinking it has simply stood up and walked away.

The Nevadian silently surveyed the bar, frowning.

It looked like a perfectly normal bar, as far as he could tell.

Which made him uneasy, all things considered. He had originally assumed that everyone had left during some sort of warning announced by Auroc, but that seemed less and less likely.

A populace that--as far as Held knew--was as isolated from the outside world entirely, would know nothing but fear and panic at the announcement of an invading alien force bent on conquering them. No matter what honeyed words Auroc used, would be able to mask the anxiety of the ships that loomed overhead. This was as calm and orderly as Held had ever seen a tavern under these circumstances.

Drinks should have been split, knocked over, taken away as the frightened people sought comfort--Or some really enjoyed their drink.

The number of drinks left, would give the impression the entire bar found no joy in whatever was offered.

And the state that the room found itself in, had been this way for some time, it looked like.

Absently, the Nevadian walked over to a table, grabbing a solitary drink from the table, before placing it up to his nose and sniffing it.

The Knight is blinded, halting his progress, as Zaofan disappears.

With his speed, he reaches the guarded room, heavily inlaid with Katchin bars and ancient glyphs. Standing guard is a single Golden Knight, twin swords in sheathes are its sides.

With Zaofan in the clear, the four Silver Knights remained for Ochazuke and Erosa to contend with. Those who rose to meet him were swiftly struck down upon the Woven Path, flight impeded upon gravity's mercy one more as they reeled under the Solar Flare.

We don't have time to delay, with this sorceress' trick, Ochazuke thought to himself as he seized the nearest knight and struck him with the neutralizing energies of Kongosho in a bid to disrupt Auroc's gift and sunder them unconscious.

It came, first as a feeling of a faint breeze through the air beneath the Capital, brushing past shearing through the air

"...oooooo----!!!"

A mad chef shrouded in a dense aura racing down the abandoned wing towards the Gold Knight.

"....oooOOOOOOOOOOO---!!!"

Closer, now. In the space between blinks flickering through the light, fists raised ready to strike-!

...naught, but the projection of aa Before Image.

Then an eerie blue light filled the catacombs before a gargantuan energy column came crashing toward the knight.

"...OOOOOOOOO-JACK~!"

Channeled from the core of the Katchin weapon, ki extended like a photonic train as Zaofan's Valiantim Staff filled the hallway in a bid to smash through the Golden Guardian and the door behind him as he rammed forward.

Oddly enough, yes. A thrum of power that seems to resonate with the black blood like body Auroc possesses.

A Bronze Knight appears and attempts to stab Dash with a spear.

Dash spins quickly and parries the stab with her Pole-Axe. As the two weapons meet, with an audible Kiai, Dash uses her enhanced strength to try and push the knight backward.

OOC: 10/100 Usage. At 100/100 she has to transform back.

Nevanlinna had expected this, but to have hell break loose so soon.

Sigh.

Drawing her sword, she drew it back, blue ki coating it as she activated her Azure Blade. She'd noticed that... crystal or whatever, and that Nevadian that had gotten bitchsmacked had said something about it over the... wait, how was she in the telepathic network? She should've been imm--

Actually, never mind.

Turning to face Auroc, she thrust her sword forward, the Azure Blade extending at breakneck speed towards the self-proclaimed god, aimed roughly at where the Black Crystal should be.


Of course, she wasn't entirely sure she could even pierce him, so it might require him to be... softened up, so to speak. Something this lot was well-equipped for.

With her panoramic vision, Praxat examines Auroc and those within the room, and the room itself. Listen carefully to what was being said, but at the same time being on guard with her skin color being a dark green.

She was so close. Her ax's blade was scant inches away from landing when his new incredible power flared and blew her away.

She landed on her back, but quickly kipped up to her feet. What she was confronted with stole whatever retort she had in mind and on the tip of her tongue. Kakarot stood tall and faced her. His new aura was tinged with streaks of lightning that circled around him. His hair was spikier than it had been before, and his muscle mass increased. Yet, it was the bulky form she and Sarada experimented with during their training, the form she quickly determined was a detriment due to its decreased speed. His power far outstripped hers, and she knew his speed did as well.

She was in a tight spot with no chance of fighting him off. Her attempts to placate to his silent wish for a permanent death were rebuked. The runes' control over him were too great for him to even stave off his offensive long enough for her to try.

"So be it," she answered. Her ax remained drawn. She was going to need every advantage she could score. With any luck, she could net a lucky hit and get a headstart on undoing those runes. It was worth a try, at any rate.

He nods to her.

“Goodbye, Princess.”

A single dull beam of Greyish-green energy starts pooling in his hands.

Ochazuke can see a Gold Knight burst from the wall, spear tip nearly at Ochazuke’s throat.

Zaofan’s blow lands true, the knight slammed into and through the door, the wood and metal splintering.
