For Parsley, it was simple. "Something to make me more versatile in battle," she responded.

There was already a great deal she could do with Blood magic, but that required a high cost and not one that she wanted to keep paying over and over again just so she could have some versatility. Learning other forms of magic - ones that could be cast without having to cut herself open over and over again - would have been a big advantage.

"Something like a transmutation magic." Turning one thing into another thing could be quite useful, she figured.
