Default All the Lights in the Sky are Stars

    Month 5:

The weeks flew by and as the Big Ghetti Star began to bridge the technological gap between humanity and their allies from Nevadian space, there came a pressing need from both the government and the Earth Defense force to defend not just the planets, but both of these sovereign assets in the system. The alien presence was going to increase about the BGS Space Station, one might suppose it would become as much a settlement as it was a bulwark from the unknowable cosmic forces that sought out trouble.

A troublesome dilemma, even in the advent of beneficent progress. The initiatives spearheaded by Jinzi Pantaloon had been sparked in good faith they would seek to do good. The unfortunate reality was that possession of these expanded Earth territories beget new potential avenues for war. Soon what began as a project to create a better spacesuit for onsite repairs where automation would not do was further expanded to create spacefaring arms.

Drawn from the exploded view of the defunct remains of Willa Rautt's own autonomous modular power armor Crimson, plans for mechanized air-to-space armours began to materialize. Mechanical warframes were adjusted for a piloted suit of armor suited for the rigors of space. In addition, prepatations were made for modular fighter aircaft to augment their strengths. New environs required a means to get there outside of conventional deployment; what better than a plane interceptor with legs that could take off on any terrain?

The next problem to solve was a matter of scale. For what feats the Capsule engineers could accomplish, they were thinking of this in terms of robotics and automation. For most purposes this was sufficient, but in manners of energy capture and output, a ki-adept had a higher operative ceiling, even if it was much less precise and difficult to measure exactingly. It would be a miracle if they could find some balance; The normal rank and file officer was not conditioned enough to survive the rigors of space; Conversely, with the level of practice it took to get a ki adept to fighting strength, there wasn't enough time to fit them for technology or train them up for maneuvers. Third, the cutting edge specs of the air-to-space vehicle performances demanded transitioning from surface-air-space maneuvers in a manner that an untrained body, simply put, could not handle the stress and shift of; G forces, impacts, or even system-supported perception at the speeds required for operation.

To bridge the gap, a peculiar solution emerged once Jinzi Pantaloon himself found Ochazuke in meditative practice, reading and interfacing with the heart of the machine-planetoid. As the martial artist applied his technique across the breadth of the Big Ghetti Star, its mechanical mind responded to the input, shaping a structure that looked much like the Dragon Academy on Earth. With a hand-picked team of designers stationed at the Big Ghetti Star, together they had found a way to reverse engineer a piloting system based on a neural control interface in a crude imitation of Evangeline's Control Crown. This emergent prototype was called the Zero System, so named because the madman's proposal was for a technology would allow a fighting man to come up to speed with an analog pilot with zero training.

The prototype mech drills in the Lunar training facility had mixed results. Performance-wise, EDF Mech Corpsmen reported that it was nothing like the old Red Raider kits they'd upgraded for multi-terrain short-range operations. Even though they knew the machine inside and out, timing the inputs on an analog system was always better designed, far less complicated than figuring out how to operate as a veritable ghost in the machine, and the sheer neural load of the task was disorienting. Sometimes the response came counterintuitively when pilots forgot their discipline in a panic tilt, throwing the machines out of balance with inadverdant twitches overtaking the mechanical processes; other times, they described a phenomenon of 'ghosting', as if their minds moved too fast for the machine to keep up.

It was a miracle they didn't lose anybody, but the shock of it would see these officers grounded for some time.

    Month 7 (Late)

Serendipitously, the project with the Stargate Network had completed just as the Royal Saiyan Sisters left to attend to their task. Running parallel from the BGS to every known Nevadian trading partner, though visitors from all over had come and made contact with those at the Orbital Station surrounding the machine heart, the time had come for more direct diplomacy. Through these fixed-coordinates in folding space nearest to the destinations, as representative to the peoples of the wider universe Zaofan and Ochazuke departed on a series of goodwill missions. They would travel there in earnest, and with the direct support of their liason they spearheaded humanity's first foray beyond their star system.

Right now they embarked on the first of several emissary missions. It took some doing, but the Guardian Evangeline had eyes on their allies. Whatever delays there had been, the arrival of the Earthly ship retinue demonstrated that she had remembered them. Approximately a week before arriving, a holographic message carried by a signal transponder was beamed out to the various planets. Sector by sector they went, and the initial greetings were made.

"Hello! I am Zaofan, a man from Earth! We understand that it's a great big universe out there that we share, and we've prepared to visit! I hope that our peoples can come to understand each other in mutual friendship! We'll be on the way with a sampling of good things for you all, see you soon!"

Using the Zero-System interface, guided specifically by his training using vector of sensory awareness granted by his meditation field, Ochazuke conquered at least part of his luddite tendencies. With the aid of a skeleton crew, it was a marvel when the vessel was finally completed. It looked like a hybrid of a starship and a submarine because in a functional sense, that's precisely what it was. Able to resist tremendous pressures from space phenomena to intra-atmosphere environs, it was designed to endure the worst, no matter what. Yet, its defensive maser guns aside, most of its heavy weaponry was concealed, for it was meant to be a diplomat's ship, though one that would not hesitate to engage should it become necessary. Perhaps this was most apparent in the vessel's most distinguishing feature. Katchin alloy was tempered and twisted into a great drill upon the bow, as symbolic as it was function for the vessel represented Humanity's progress, breaking through and finding any means to push forward.

A modular design modelled after the freight-bearing Nevadian Navigator Vessels, it was also outfitted with certain armaments that the GP were not privy to - Jinzi Pantaloon called them his personal surprises on the sly. Its name was boisterous, loud enough to distract from its true purpose.

When they met the peoples that traded with the Federation, Zaofan worked his magic. Every party a banquet, every soiree a night to remember. For the human explorers and scientists cataloguing and indexing each of the myriad peoples, they discovered they had their work cut out for them. To the Guardians and leaders he could find, Ochazuke's message was more dire and direct.

"Those that call you Kami, or worship you as a God, they stand dependent on you to act as their Guardian. Don't let pride make you lose sight of your duty, for you are being targeted."

The Spark of Creation common to them was by now something increasingly familiar to his sensibilities. If they did doubt him, it was swiftly curbed by the crystal, and the fell Soul Meister contained within.

"If you doubt the truth of what I speak, you have but to examine this for it, for our stories will be the same. I only regret I could not come sooner." However many dozens of apologies for as many planets they'd encountered, each was said with the same dour sincerity. "The Angel of this Universe, Sakin, schemes to end it. The powers of destruction enacted through his agents will not be sufficient for his task, the other part of the equation the power of Creation. Your power. However late the hour is, the time to act is now."

"The sight of Guardians has been entrusted to those with the vision with which to use it. The future of your people, of all peoples, rests within this moment. It is not an enviable task, this godhead entrusted to you, yet you accepted it. If you would stand with the Earth in a united effort, I would be grateful."

Those who accepted did so reluctantly.

Those that attacked him, however, were quickly removed of their Parasites; when they came to and spied the ravenous silvery flesh of the thing, now they had a specific vector to target, living proof for the ire-filled Guardians now galvanized with the faith and power granted to their semi-divine station.

The tour came to a conclusion when they reached the edge of known space as charted by the Nevadians. When they returned to Reshlan, Zaofan was swift to press the privileges of his knighthood. Whatever Queen Nevan had extruded by now from the secrets in Auroc's store would, assuredly, become more available. In exchange, with the conjunction of Held and Ulysses' outpost, this was, perhaps the precipice of Threshling hermit kingdom at large joining the fold of the Known Universe. One thing was clear, the Martial Chef had a lot of reading to do, and so he promised to meet his brother on the Saiyan world Ruco when his task had been concluded.

Someone that powerful showing up to speak to Maiz would put everyone on high alert, especially since no one but three or four people would even know who he was.

"Let me know when you're coming so I can give you coordinates."
Finally, a Stargate opened to where Vocado once was, but when the passage through Folded Space resolved itself, there was nothing there.

"It wouldn't do to show up unannounced, would it?"

On Earth, Parsley and Sarada would portal in on a whim, clean out the kitchen and demand the attention of those present as if they were owed. Late Month 7

Despite the chaos threatened to overtake the universe, life moved forward. The planet continued to spin on and everyone on it was forced to spin with it. That meant living life as usual, even though in the backs of every pertinent person's mind, the looming darkness the very near future presented a very real dampener on otherwise joyous occasions. People continued to perform their duties, do their jobs, and check off their daily to-do lists. However, for the army of nearly ten million Saiyans, things were going to be different moving forward.

The list of enemies that were nearly upon them was short, but those on that list were immensely powerful. Sarada had no idea how Sakin and Alakazah were going to make their moves, but she wanted her soldiers ready for anything. With that in mind, she made an adjustment to their training regimen. Oh, the schedule remained the same: two days of hard training, two days of rest, and a third for light training, as had become the norm. It was the addition of brand new gravity chambers that tossed in an extra wrinkle. The increased gravity would make even the most basic punch thrown feel like there were hundreds of tons added to it. The increase was based on how powerful the soldiers were: anywhere from ten times to four hundred times for the most powerful of Ultra Elites. Regardless of their limitations, the goal remained the same: grow stronger, faster, more durable, more tenacious than they were the day before.

As the days and weeks passed by, the soldiers grew accustomed to their new training and flourished. Even though it wasn't used in any official capacity anymore - the introduction of Super Saiyan to the public consciousness made it obsolete and nonsensical - many still measure their battle power to gauge their improvement. Many saw their power jump up by tens of thousands every few weeks. There were even a few who passed the one million mark, a status that only the Royal Family had achieved up to that point. While it was a source of pride and joy for many, they all realized they still had to crane their necks to look up at the Royals. While a few were jealous of their seemingly effortless power jumps, many realized that such leaps in strength came at great sacrifice. The likes of Queen Sarada and her siblings worked hard to achieve the power they wielded. It was a source of motivation to cross into the realm of legends and become Super Saiyans themselves.

In addition to their improved training methods, they were also brought abreast of the cosmic forces they were dealing with. Parsley prepared a sizable study guide that included details on Angels, the Gods of Creation and Destruction, the Universes, and other beings of interest. All of it was sourced from several places - Caliban, Auroc's journal, and her own encounters. Details were sparse for some, understandably; it was still a very new field of study. The electronic file the soldiers received was dynamically linked to her master copy, meaning that their copy would update automatically as she updated hers. Staying on the same page was vital if they were to survive, as was actually being aware of what the hell they were going to be up against, assuming it even came to that. Even if it didn't, it was good to know what was out there.

"I'm proud of you son," Lemawngras said as he squeezed Paisley's shoulder. "You, a battle power of 600k." He chuckled and shook his head. "Just think, it was only a few years ago when you got completely pasted by Princess Parsley."

"Thanks, dad," he replied dryly. It was years ago, but being completely humiliated like that was still a sore spot. "I just hope I can make a difference."

"Sure you will! Just remember that you don't have to fight the battle alone. You have thousands of powerful soldiers backing you up." With that bit of encouragement out of the way, the elder Saiyan frowned. "Don't take these people for granted, son. They... sound really powerful."

Paisley swallowed nervously. "Yeah. I won't."

Conversations like that were happening all throughout the empire. No one truly knew what the future held, but they were going to be ready regardless.

In addition to the soldiers preparing, the city-wide and planetary defense measures were fully implemented, even on the skeletal husk that was Sarada. Each city housed dozens of small anti-air cannons with satellite based targeting systems. Additionally, each city had a shield generator. The shield was a blend of ki and ionic energy. The blend allowed it to absorb impacts from enemy fire and redirect it back to the generator, boosting its strength and power. In other words, the more the shields were battered, the stronger they would become. The shields Sarada gave to Earth were of the same make and design. Lastly, each planet in the Empire had a pair of surveillance satellites in its orbit. If something sought to attack them, they would be ready.

After completing her first draft of the Cosmic Being Handbook®, Parsley left with Avoca and their children for a brief sojourn on Pepa. It was winter there and the slopes were ripe for skiing. Sarada was on Callion surveying how their entire infrastructure was progressing. Pinach was on Langal with Maiz, helping her set up her temple. It was a slow process, as the "temple" was actually an underground cave that needed to be... prepared for civilized living.

Within the control room of Langal's space traffic control, a pair of operators noticed that a blip had remained in the planetary space previously occupied by Vocado for some time. Not long, but longer than any ship who intended on merely passing. "Hey, Caro, you seeing this?"

Caro looked at the blip and frowned. "Think it's some kind of raider looking for any treasure?"

"Seven months later? Doubtful. Besides, most of the stuff was taken by Tundra. Hang on, I'll try to hail them." He tapped several keys on the console in front of him, only to notice a blinking light to his left. "Oh, they're hailing us..." He pushed the light, opening communications between them and the Gotengo. "This is Langal Space Traffic Control. With whom am I speaking?"

"Langal Space Traffic Control, this is the Starship Gotengo."

Ochazuke's voice carried through the audio channel, and a visual lit up if it could be received. The bridge of the vessel had a rather spartan layout, all things considered. Officers sat at their consoles tending to their instruments and appraising feedback. But the most striking feature was the man seated in meditative repose in the centre. Adorned in a strange helm that seemed to feed into the vessel, though his lips did not move, the message was somehow spoken.

"We've come from Earth on a goodwill mission from President Jinzi Pantaloon."

The visual shift. Following behind the Gotengo was a small retinue of two other ships that appeared to be modified Nevadian freighters.

"With the handover of the Saiyan garrison on the moon, to honour our partnership with Queen Sarada, we've come for visitation with some gifts. Requesting permission to dock."

A video image popped up on their screen, revealing the crew of the Gotengo. The person speaking with them seemed to have some sort of technological telepathy or something like that. At least that was what they assumed it was.

Upon the mention of Earth and President Pantaloons, the two operators both nodded with recognition. Queen Sarada had mentioned to them a few weeks ago that a convoy from Earth would be arriving to speak with Lady Maiz. As such, they already had the welcoming committee prepped and ready to roll out. "Understood, Gotengo. We'll send you coordinates to Langal ASAP." The moment after those words were spoken, Gotengo received a set of star coordinates for the planet in question. The planet was one star system over from their present location. "We'll be awaiting your imminent arrival."

While that operator was on the line with Ochazuke, the other operator phoned the palace and informed Sarada of the Gotengo's arrival. He also got in contact with Maiz to inform her as well.

The ships from Earth pulled in to dock at the designated area, and as the crewmen from each vessel prepared to disembark and meet the welcoming party, there was a certain tension in the air.

Then the offramps loosed and a small suspensor drone-ball floated out the port side of both of the freighters, casting a holographic video that stretched over the crowd.

"Hello, friends! Zaofan here! My friends have come lightyears away on a mission of goodwill and friendship!"

"On behalf of the people of Earth and President Jinzi Pantaloon, we'd like to extend our most heartfelt thanks for you and your Royal family's help in keeping our home safe. Sorry I couldn't make it myself, but I've prepared a few things in advance!"

One by one, the crewmen began to exit the craft. Though some pushed through the increased gravity, the majority were adorned in power armors meant for maintenence work to assist in their labours. The cargo ships offloaded their wares, stacks of flat pallets arrayed with many thin numbered briefcases filled with...capsules, marked from m-01 to m-35. One of the Gotengo officers picked up the first capsule, a curiously nervous expression on his face, and with a hollow pop, a spread arrayed with a feast hit the ground. Boeuf Bourginon, Ratatoille, Baguettes, Gruyer, with a side of boillabaise and a layered mille-feuille.

"The cuisine from the kitchens of my world, now can be a part of yours! And if you follow along with my book..."

And so the first contact was made to kindle a new future with new friendships. The science officers surely would have scores of questions to come, much to the initial chagrin of their warrior escorts who just tried to get things going smoothly on this diplomatic mission. On the Gotengo bridge, Ochazuke, garbed in a aerospace suit, slowly removed his control helm with a sigh. It'd be easier if he was here...but we all have our roles to fill I suppose.

Making a quiet exit as the dispensation of cultural exchange went along, he moved along the crowd, extending his senses across the innate energies of the planet itself to get a feel of the place.

"So, everyone's got their beef with life, Sasheem's got it. How do you plan on getting away with this anyway?"

"Simple," Xuan Wu shrugged. "If the Time Patrol had gathered allies en masse to confront us, I would simply use the abilities I've acquired since attuning to the time stream to cause this all to vanish as if it never existed in the first place. But it is far too late. It's nigh time I enact upon my grand vision! Yami Kintoun and I will sail across the timesteam! Intricate infusions of my ki and it's lightning sent into the time stream at superluminal velocities, shattering all that ever was, leaving my allies outside of time to craft the world as we see fit. The gods of new dawn!" Xuan Wu gave a wide grin, spreading his arms to the skies.

"But that still leaves the question of your joining, Majin Sasheem..." Xuan Wu glanced down upon the Majin. "I have to admit, I'm surprised you listened to all I've had to say with such patience. I trust you've contemplated the implications were we to succeed in out goal?"

"Yeah, Sasheem has actually," The Majin stood up, dusting his pants off and beginning to stretch his legs. "And form what it sounds like ,you're a buncha sore losers. And believe Sasheem, he's hung out with a lot of 'em!" the Majin went on, insulting those not present to retort. "You kinda did have one point. This universe, this timeline, however ya wanna sling it, it's been screwed up for a long time, 'cause morons keep tryna change fate, without thinking of the consequences! But form how Sasheem sees it, you ain't any different....just a new brand of crazy!"

Sasheem pointed to himself and smirked. "When Sasheem had it in the cards to go out and wreck shit all across the universe, he knew how things would end up! But you, ya elephant eared chrome-dome jabroni, are out here messin' with forces you barely understand just to get the results you hope'll happen! Give Sasheem a break. We both know how this ends!"

The smile faded from Xuan Wu's face, replaced by an expression of disappointment. "I see. I was afraid this would be the case. Truly a shame, you don't recognize your own hypocrisy..." he reached down into Dark Kintoun, picking up a staff, which he spun around before taking a fighting stance with it, holding the staff partway behind his back with his left hand while his right stood out, palm extended.

"But you will not come to your senses by my words alone," the former monk spoke in a mocking tone. "Give it your all in this, your final bout!"

Sasheem's gave no verbal response, his confidence speaking for itself through his taunting expression. He took a fighting stance of the Snake, before using Mamba Boost to dash upward and deliver a swift chop at Xuan Wu's neck, the snake hoping to spill the turtle's blood before it retreated back into it's shell...

Default The Snake and the Law, Trampled Underfoot Part 5

St-Eam stood in middair, arms folded as he cheekily grinned over his handiwork against Bio-Jagam. St-Aadia began to violently scratch at his head, looking both baffled and appalled. "No, no, no....this is. This is a simply deceit, good Doctor. Misdirection on your part!"

"Think again, Aadia...You're far too smart to behave this way..." Dr. Cast reprimanded. "You were only half right., Many at the GP did indeed fear St-Eam. But even back then, there were those among the GP who were in the habit of practicing compassion. There was no overruling the decision for St-Eam to be 'decommissioned' , as they put it, with the rest of your siblings. Many in the upper hierarchy of the Galaxy Police deemed him too much of a potential liability. That he would inevitably become as you did, a monster craving nothing but testing the limits of his capabilities! Others saw the hypocrisy in this. You were a creature of their own making. It was easy for them to shuffle blame to you. "

"They would not grant a child the same cruel fate. So, I enacted a plan to have St-Aadia frozen like these four...but he was to be stored at one of my remote facilities for his own safety. Being a cyborg myself, I even wiped my own mind of the incident, trusting Durive to restore my mind when the time called for it....though I fear he waited far, far too late!" the scientist added, giving a small look of disapproval towards the tiny GP chief upon his shoulder.

    Durive merely shrugged in response.

"You save this child and not me?! The oldest of your pupils, the only one who was true prodigy like yourself in the field of science?!" St-Aadia hissed, suddenly leaping out of his wheelchair as the device itself reconstructed itself into liquid metal, forming around the eldest cyborg's body. "Do you like it, dear family?! Stolen technology from an alternate of that upstart Pantaloon. It was mildly impressive I will admit. This nano-fiber-Katchin mesh. But will my alterations, it will restore me to my former glory!" he barked, a glassy eyed, deranged expression slapped across his face.

The liquid metal finally solidified, looking not unlike the technology utilized to create Adam as St-Aadia's frail body was restored to a more youthful form. While the older of his younger siblings remained aghast, both from the rapid influx of information and the dawning realization that while they weren't quite outnumbered, they were certainly outmatched by the current foes present....but their youngest sibling, whom they had only recently been introduced to stood confidently, arms folded as if in wait.

And with arms still folded, St-Eam merely extended a single index finger, which he promptly began to wag. "Nope! Not impressed big bro!" he taunted. "First off, back in the day I was made to be as strong as you. You must've forgotten. It's been a while ,so I'll let ya off the hook! Secondly, Katchin? Katchin-mesh?! Guess you aren't up on the times!"

"What?! What are you babbling about?!" St-Aadia scratched his chin. "There are many variations of KAtchin, all of which I've deeply ingrained within my mermory. Nothing the great Doctor Cast could produce is-"

"Katchin this, Katchin that, listen to what I'm sayin', will ya!" St-Eam pounded his chest. "This armor of mine, this iron physique is permanently Katchin...but when I power up!" St-Eam's sleek armor swiftly became an even smoother, denser metal.

"It's Katchi-Katchin. The god metal," St-Eam explained. "Of course we can't maintain it for long periods of time like the old Katchin forms, but Dr. Cast figured out how to work it into our systems a couple hours ago, on the spot! Pretty impressive, right?!"

"Brilliant!" P-Sta exclaimed, finally finding his voice again. "The Doctor's genius knows no...wait, what....'we'?! 'Our'?!"

"That's right!" Dr.Cast grinned, letting his briefcase fly open. Gleaming emblems soared out, dashing across the air before planting themselves on the belt buckles of the Katchin Squadron. Almost immediately, within fractions upon fractions of a second, scanlines appeared across their cyborg bodies. Not only were their techno-organic bodies taking on a permanent Katchin-state but they felt new, powerful levels of energy flowing through them.

"Katchin Squadron..." Dr. Cast explained, one of the devices latching onto his buckle as well. "It's high time, I took off your limiters. As cyborgs you have the potential to master unlimited levels of energy not beholden to pure organics. I have not yet mastered the technology but as you access your Katchi-Katchin forms, prepare to make impossible feats of power a reality!"

"This won't do, THIS WON'T DO!" St-Aadia screamed, eyes bugging out of his skull nearly. He looked back towards Jagam, who seemed to still be reforming himself from the escalator and stomped his feet. "UGH! Useless....Fossul! Pomegranate!" St-Aadia called out to his two peers instead. "Assist me! MY siblings have proven themselves to be more a burden than I assumed!"

"The only burden you will bear, brother is the beneath the sheer solar mass that is JUSTICE!" P-Sta exclaimed, leaping towards the air beginning to pose dynamically. "The Mightiest Metal! P-Sta!" He shouted as landed upon the ground with a heavy THUD, knocking large tile of the mall floor into the air...

Tile that was just as quickly sliced into specs of dust by one of his younger brothers. "The Unbreakable Blade! X-Bo!" the swordsman of the Squad exclaimed, posing with his sword, letting the dust fall around him...

And bouncing from speck of dust to speck of dust was a small light that gradually expanded in size until that light formed into a brilliant humanoid sheen, landing in front of her brothers. "The Peerless Tactician! P-Cee!" she shouted, as all the dust was kicked up behind her as if blown back by a cool breeze...

Before being engulfed by a spiraling flame that emerged from Dr. Cast's cane, which he spun around with such intense speed that it became unto that of a cyclone until it rapidly solidified into glass behind him. "The Refined Roboticist! Dr. Cast!" with a smirk he merely tapped the glass tornado behind him, causing it to instantly shatter...

Only for each individual piece to be reduced to atoms upon being shot with such precision and speed as N-Ten slid into frame. "The Sharpest Shooter! N-Ten!" she smirked as explosive flash lit behind her...

Because at near impossible speeds to the untrained eye came a small blur, dashing around his older siblings in a circle, he backflipped into the air, hyperactive as he was focused until he landed in a handstand atop of Dr. Cast's hat. "Boundless Energy! Unstoppable Force! The name's Sttttttttttttt-EAM!"

    "GOD METAL KATCHI-KATCHIN SQUADRON!"

At this point Fossul and Pomegranate had finally landed beside St-Aadia, bothj of their weapons brandished. P-Sta turned to St-Eam and nodded. "Thank you for joining us, er, little brother. I know you probably have many fond memories of us that we sadly have lsot. But hopefully after this battle we can make up for lost time@ But today...!"

"We kick butt!" St-Eam finished as he and Dr. Cast rushed towards St-Aadia, P-Cee and P-Sta charged at Fossul, and X-Bo and N-ten began to face down Pomegranate.

There was a brief silence when Zaofan's holographic image materialized into view and started speaking, as if the Saiyans were trying to figure out who he was. It wasn't until he actually said his name that they immediately knew who he was.

    "It's Zaofan!" a woman shouted.

"I thought Her Highness was just exaggerating, but he's real!" a man followed.

Excited murmurs rippled through the small crowd of people. It was clear that Sarada had been gushing about her Earth friends to her subjects ever since she first returned to Vocado from her first trip there years ago. And as the years continued and her trips became more frequent, the stories of the M Fighters passed over into legend.

Pois and a line of four women passed through the excited crowd just as the Gotengo crew handed over their gifts. Capsules, which only the Royals had been making use of up until that point, and food. And not just any kind of food, but food prepared with the expert and loving care of a galaxy-renowned chef, one capable of satisfying the palates of Saiyans, Majin, and Id alike. The Langalians approached the table two at a time and helped themselves. Each one offered a hearty thanks to the newcomers and moved to the side so the next person could gather their plate. "Thank you so much for this gracious gift."

"Please excuse Her Majesty's absence," Pois said. "She's currently on another of our worlds attending to an urgent welfare check. My name is Pois, I'll be more than happy to serve as hostess for the duration of your stay."

One of the women accompanying Pois bowed respectfully and extended a picture frame toward the diplomats. It was a hand-painted landscape portraying Earth's Southern Continent as it was two-thousand years ago. "This was painted by King Vocado himself shortly after he returned from his battle on Earth," she said. "Please take it as a token of our newfound friendship." Two more women stepped forward, each with a pair of priceless artworks painted by Vocado himself.

Another stepped forward, a pair of small sacks in her hand. "We were told that the one known as Ochazuke would be here. I have a gift for him from Lady Maiz."

For Ochazuke, he can that Langal's civilization was almost perfectly blended with nature. The cities were relatively small and so interspersed within the forests that they seemed to almost sprout out of them as naturally as the towering oak trees that surrounded them. The city behind them, Victory City, was a perfect example. As for the people, there was a general calmness permeating through the population, but with strong smatterings of tense anxiety. Parsley and Sarada are absent, and Maiz literally just arrived an instant ago with Pinach. They seemed to be making their way toward the ship right then.

Deeper within, he found the planet's leylines. Lively and vibrant, they criss-crossed the world and energized every living thing that walked on the surface.

He talks with Praxat for about an hour, explaining what we have previously PM’ed together about Araxat’s history and the McFrog family and the like.
" Well, it's not all that complicated, and understood it very well. Let's sum it up. My grandmother Araxat was always a sociopathic narcissist. She became that way because of a chemical accident at her birthing pool," Praxat said.

" She has two sisters, one of them which she stabbed in the forehead with a telekinetic knife when she was eight. That sister went on to become a Quintillionaire Entrepreneur tech tycoon in Toymaking and Quantum technology. Mcfrog family were upper class," Praxat said.

" They ran a martial arts business and taught Mcfrog style Electromagnetokinetic Combat. My grandmother did lots of awful things, and the last time you saw was when she killed an astronaut at the age of 21. Shit, the Mcfrog family's irresponsibility for letting Araxat get away with all those horrible things," Praxat said.

" They should have gotten her help. They should have seen there was something seriously wrong with her. Sending a deranged psychopath to a Boarding School after she killed a bunch of people was a terrible idea. Anyways are Araxat's two sisters still alive?" Praxat said.

" Now this Mcfrog style Electromagnetokinetic Combat sounds interesting, I would love to learn it. As I have a goal, and that goal is to achieve Bio-electromagnetism mastery," Praxat said.

" Thanks for that history lesson on my grandmother and the Mcfrog Family, great great uncle. Now let me sum up what your niece Araxat had been up to. To sum things up, She start a war on my home planet Qaceria, lobotomized one of my sisters, and killed almost all the rest of my siblings, and would have destroyed several galaxies with a bomb," Praxat said.

" She was stopped by me, with the help from some allies," Praxat said.

    He shakes his head.

“Many decades ago this planet met a minor apocalypse. Most of our tech, our society, and our people died off. You have seen the ruins above? That was our civilization. As a mostly insular people, with little galactic reach, we had no help from the greater Galaxy and have lost most ability to even leave planet. All our money, gone. All our tech, pretty much gone. As to the McFrog family…….I alone remain.”

    He shrugs.

“Araxat and I are the last, and if there is justice for her crimes she soon will be executed.”

"That's sad to hear. What if I told you I could help improve this planet? I'm still interested in learning Mcfrog style Electromagnetokinetic Combat," Praxat said.

" Araxat punishment is up to the GP to decide she's currently in one of their prisons. I'm a cadet in the GP. First, I need to find a way to get in contact with GP HQ," Praxat said.

Praxat then uses her Bioelectromagetism to pull a sheet of metal towards her. She floats it in front of her and zaps it with her bioelectricity. "This is pretty much what I can do right now, besides create a plasma barrier. I also know how to electrically enhanced myself using my Bioelectromagnetism, but it's dangerous," Praxat said.

" I have been working on doing Electrolysis, and many times I have failed to do it," Praxat said.

He draws a small wooden cane out from behind him and nods.

“Very well. I shall attempt to train you. Give me your hand.”
