"We come into this world alone and we leave the same way. The time we spent in between - time spent alive, sharing, learning together... is all that makes life worth living." - Jean Grey
I always have a tough time ranking books so I'll just list what I plan to continue reading and everything else is dropped unless I hear anything interesting.
Fallen angels, Excalibur, X-force (Marauders I'm on the fence about)
- Great
New Mutants
X-Force
- Good
Marauders
Fallen Angels
- Alright
Excalibur
X-Men
After finally reading Fallen Angels my list has to get modified.
Xforce
Fallen angels/Marauders
Excalibur
-
-
-
-
-X-men
Fallen Angels was damn good and much better then I thought it would be . Reading X-men #2 has me seriously close dropping the title. The writing characters and dialogue are terrible. That issue was painfully hard to get through .
New Mutants
Marauders
Xmen
Excalibur
Fallen Angels
X-force
Le Suck it, Dolphin!
-God I am so tired.
SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
X-Force
Fallen Angels (and what a big surprise that it's not dead last, much less #2!)
Marauders
Excalibur
New Mutants
X-Men
I fully expect my list to keep shifting and changing because: 1) Recency bias & 2) I love all of the Dawn of X books and expect every issue to outdo the previous one.
Marauders - it wasn't great ... but I'm interested in where it goes. the art was solid except Pyro looking weird. dialogue was stronger than most books.
X-Force - a rough start but it was ok. not looking forward to Quentin...
New Mutants - again kind of a rough start. I like the cast at least.... but it didn't feel as stiff as other books.
X-Men - I really thought and hoped this would be better. I really wish Pepe Laraz was on this or they could get another artist. Yu's characters right now look just lifeless. I'm not liking the art at all. Hickman's plots are interesting but the dialogue and characters are just .... rigid.
Excalibur - wasn't really a fan of this so far. the cast made little sense. I'm not really interested in this magic stuff or Apocalypse and this dumb name thing.
Fallen Angels - I wasn't interested going in and doubt I'll keep up with this one. The art and just feel were pretty meh. I have little to no interest in the cast. Kwannon/Revanche going by Psylocke and keeping the same outfit is just dumb. Kid Cable sucked in X-Men and here.... and X-23 is whatever.
I'll probably keep up with Marauders, X-Force, New Mutants, and X-Men for now.
