    Default What voices do you read Marvel characters in?

    I think we all imagine voices for the different characters as we read them. This is where we'll discuss that.

    To start us off, I read Spider-Man usually in the voice of either Christopher Daniel Barnes (Spider-Man: The Animated Series) or Josh Keaton (Spectacular Spider-Man). Lately, I've also read him in the voice of Yuri Lowenthal, thanks to Spider-Man PS4.

    I'll post more examples later. What about you guys?

    Blade = Wesley Snipes.
    Blue Marvel = Dennis Haysbert.
    Spider-Man = Dan Gilvezan.

    Iron Man - Robert Downey Junior or Matt Smith usually, though the most recent version sounds like Rick Sanchez half the time.

    Beau Weaver and Lori Alan will always be my Reed and Sue

    Quinton Flynn is always Johnny

    Michael Chiklis is Ben Grimm. Yes, his performance is so good that it subverts the voice I heard in the 90s cartoon.

    Adult Jean is Jenifer Hale. Teen Jean is always Venus Terzo, but thanks to Jeen, I mentally default to Kiernan Shipka for whatever reason.

    Speaking of Shipka, Kiernan Shipka using her Jinnora voice is my Valeria. If not Shipka, then it's Mckenna Grace.

    I read Franklin's voice in Noah Schnapp's voice, but that's drifted away towards Vincent Martella or Finn Wolfhard.

    Earl Boen is the Beyonder.

    Spider-Man is usually Christopher Daniel Barnes (Spider-Man: The Animated Series) or Josh Keaton (Spectacular Spider-Man).

    Iona Morris is Storm. It's usually very weird for me to not picture her screaming her lines.

    Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool.

    Sofia Wylie is Ironheart. I was so happy when she was casted as such in Marvel Rising.

    Galactus will always be Tony Jay. He was so good that I wish I can conjure up his ghost to record Galactus again.

    Jonathan Adams as Kang. Sorry, Steve Blum, but you can't deal with him.

    Spider-Man - The 90's show voice
    The Inhumans and FF- the FF 90's show
    Crystal short-hair- a bit more matured
    The X-Men- 90's show
    Deadpool-Reynolds
    Avengers-MCU
    Captain Marvel and Captain America-Earth's Mightest tv show
    The Black Order- british accents
    Thanos-random british accent
    Hulk- the 90's show

    The 90's shows did a good job with the voices. Nowadays the voice actors sound very Californian. Video games are hit or misses. Ms Marvel's sounds great though.

    The Silver Surfer 90's show had an interesting choice for Thanos. It's on Youtube.

    Mostly the voices from the cartoons they've appeared in and it changes periodically whenever they get new voice actors for the characters most of the time.

    I'm not very good at that kind of thing, but I saw Donny Cates say that Cosmic Ghost Rider is supposed to sound like Bill Burr so that is really the only one I read differently.

    I don't have solid voices for all characters,but I read a lot of the X-Men with their TAS voices. And after the Netflix version, I can't help but read Elektra with Elodie Yung's voice
