It does break a few things, but they aren't really things worth going into. Tony and Bruce didn't know each other prior to being superheroes, until they went into Heroes Reborn and remembered being pre-super friends there. Like, it was a specific plot point when they came back that they remembered being buddies, and also not. But as retcons go, I'm totally fine with this one. Blame it on the time quakes in Age of Ultron or whatever.

It's interesting there was a biomass altering component to the Gamma Bomb, and because Bruce Banner never read Tonys email in 1962, Bruce was unaware of the possibility of Bruce changing into the Hulk.

But this is another example of Marvel placing the origin of the Hulk in the 21st Century, (much like what Spiderman: Family Business did to Richard and Mary Parker), because there was no personal computers to send emails in 1962.

Basically, what they always do. Even when they make the art look like the 60s, there's a cell phone reference in there somewhere.

Isn't it interesting that the biomass altering capability of Gamma radiation (Radioactivity) is what does the transformation of the Hulk. It is also radioactivity that does the same biomass altering in the Spiderman case, as well. Was the Spider impregnated with Gamma radiation, and that's what made Peter Parker transform into Spiderman? It would be interesting if there was a concerted effort to have Gamma radioactivity be the cause of changes to super humans, by this biomass altering effect. Daredevil, the Leader, She-Hulk, Doc Samson, and how many more we're unaware of, could be the result of someone like the Nick Fury, who was the Sentinel on the wall? It would surmise some sort of Conspiracy was in effect, and I wouldn't put it past Fury to cause such a thing, just to subsidise his Unseen activities, with players in a more public forum taking the heat, while he runs the back ground. After all, Fury has been connected to Gamma operations this whole time.

If someone could tell that story, I think that would explode the whole Marvel Universe.
