If we consider in-universe Bush Jr is responsible for Civil War, Obama for Siege and Trump for Civil War 2 I would say that all mutants would be voting for Sanders (perhaps the Hellfire members are voting for someone they can control through donations though) dismantling the police state would be the main priority for any mutant

Plus Storm hunts down racist organizations and takes them out. She did that after Decimation too, when she went to Africa to try and save as many depowered mutants as she could.

Storm would be a political activist for mutant rights so I could see her going to equal rights demonstrations in the US and all over the world!

This might actually be spot on, considering her late and lamented father was DOCTOR Grey, a physician.

Very well said, liberals are right wing when it comes to the economy and foreign policy.

I guarantee you the Republicans of the Marvel U are big Sentinel fans who would love nothing more than to round the mutants up into permanent detention centres. Oh right they actually did this in X-Men Black Magneto, the American government was rounding up mutants in permanent detention centres.

Warren's father would be a hard core Republican, Warren would rebel against his father and be a hard core Bernie Sanders supporter!

Emma Frost wouldn't have political affiliations and she would donate money to politicians that support mutant rights legislation and that would be her only requirement for support be they Republican or Democrat. Oh, also Emma would support politicians who advocate on behalf of teachers and students, oh, that makes Emma pretty much a Democrat right there!

Jean would be all in on Medicare for all and she probably is a Bernie Sanders delegate!
Jean Grey would be a Hillary or Kamalasupporter this is very apparent from X-men Red with all the virtue signalling with a lack of substance. The Russiagate red baiting and support of censorship regarding the internet due to bots. As well as throwing a blind eye to American exceptionalidm and militarism. Limousine Liberal is the only way to describe those 11 issues

Emma probably doesn't vote or participate in "democracy" as she realises she lives in an authoritarian plutocracy. The hell fire club already owns everyone

Now a days I dont even know. I want to say socialist of some type. They share all the benefits of Krakoa. Work is voluntary it seems so they are nowhere close to communism. The "state" which is the quiet council is very far from being authoritarian. Yet they have no money and dont believe in land rights which makes them very far from libertarians.

They are unique and cannot be placed in a category.
I only continue to read X-books because I don't spend any money on it.

We don’t know enough how employment occurs on Krakoa, how wealth is distributed or the role of the government in that.

On Genosha the state determined employment and reimbursement for all citizens.

And now everyone using “leftist” “progressive” “liberal” are so incredibly vague about what they represent and stand for. Sad, isn’t it?

Krakoa actually look much more like a communist state (if you are thinking about the USSR that's not a communist state nor they claimed to be, they said they were building towards that, the technical term for what they were is state capitalism) the means of production are owned by everyone, work seems completely voluntary and not related to the living conditions, and they are a classless society. Though to be sure they would need to show more of how their society and the council in particular works

In theory it doesn’t bother me, but obvioudly it has been a boon to corporate Christian soldiers like Mayor Pete.

American Liberals believe that their political leanings are center of left but they’d be considered Republicans like 20 years ago. But what was considered centrist got pulled further to the right over the years.
Yes I’m trying to bring this conversation more to the progressive x conservative social perspective rather than the economic historical socialist vs capitalist spectrum. Of course economic liberalism leans to the right wing, no matter how progressive the social agenda is. But yes, I’m with french philosopher Deleuze. In modern world we have to face the fact all we have is governments that would be in favor of some of the left’s requirements but a government from the left, that does not exist in current world.

Well believe me u are wrong. Though i could easily be interested in your political opinions and even though keep the conversation civilized. The x franchise has a lot to do with politics. This conversation is not a stretch.
