Victor von Doom is still the highest ranked villain.

Storm is still the highest ranked female character.

Front page is either bait articles or bad takes. I only read the Cronin articles.

Upset that Sue is so low, but then again I didn’t vote. I wonder how many voted.

Cronin usually notes how many votes the character got and how many 1st place votes. You may have to go through the Brian Cronin tag to find the correct post.

    https://www.cbr.com/top-marvel-characters-3-1/

The above only gives the amount of votes for the top three though.

Edited to add that there is a separate article for 4-6:

    https://www.cbr.com/top-marvel-characters-6-4/

    And 7-10:

    https://www.cbr.com/top-marvel-characters-10-7/

...annoyed at the obvious click grab from separating these.

    *sigh*

I didn't know about this, either, would have loved to have voted for it.

The trouble is that the click bait articles proliferate very quickly and push Brian Cronin's regular columns off the page. I liked the old front page design which kept some columns in a separate section and daily news didn't push it off the page.

Once a week i go to CBR and search for his name and get a list of everything he's done that week. Its literally the only stuff worth reading on the site.

I had Namor at my number one spot.

I'm sure Cronin probably said somewhere in those posts. But you can check out exactly how many points and first place votes she got.

Me either. I just don't think our favorite characters got as many votes as they probably did in the last vote, four years ago. Namor got 5 first place votes. He probably would have gotten another 5 at least, had the poll been announced in the Appreciation Thread, which would have given him 50 more points. Which is why I said, since Namor was in about the same place in the poll previously, he did pretty good, all things considered.

    Thank you! I agree 200%!
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

    1. Dang, Captain America beating Wolverine is pretty surprising.
    2. Magneto beating all the X-Men besides Wolverine? Woah.
    3. Kitty didn't do too bad but she's lower than the 2015 poll. I'm sure this is due to some of her more controversial iterations in recent years.
    4. Marvel would be pissed if they saw Carol at only 23.
    5. Laura (X-23) didn't even make the 2015 poll, but got #38 on here. Really glad to see that. She's been one of the standout characters for this decade.
    6. Also cool to see Spider-Gwen make it.

Who brought CBR and when? I always felt like it started becoming more commercialized in recent years. I used to really enjoy Brian's articles, but now you can only really see them if you search up CSBG on google.
