In DC, how many examples of villains fighting different heroes are there?

I pointed out in the Marvel forum that Marvel has many, many examples of heroes fighting villains that aren't normally associated with them due to the interconnected nature of the universe. How often does this happen in DC?

Some examples I know:

• Gorilla Grodd originally was a Flash villain and becoming a General DCU villain, particularly the Justice League.
• Vandal Savage and Solomon Grundy were villains to Golden Age Green Lantern before moving to the General DCU.
• Deathstroke debuted as the archnemesis of the Teen Titans, but has menaced various other Titans teams, Batman, Nightwing on an independent level, and Green Arrow.
• Clock King moved from Green Arrow to Batman.
• Black Mask was a minor Batman villain who eventually became the archenemy of Catwoman.
• Deadshot debuted as a one-off Batman villain, but became better known through the Suicide Squad and Secret Six, though he stills goes against Batman often enough. He's also fought Green Arrow.
• Cyborg Superman was created in the wake of the Death of Superman event, but eventually migrated over to the Green Lantern mythos.
• The Calculator was a villain to the Justice League, but moved to the Birds of Prey.
• The Prankster was a minor Superman villain but the New 52 reboot turned him into a Nightwing villain.
• Captain Boomerang is a Flash villain, but became better known as part of the Suicide Squad. He also killed Robin (Tim Drake)'s father in Identity Crisis.
• Joker has had multiple stories where he turned up in Metropolis, Superman's turf.
• Tobias Whale is a Batman villain when he's not causing trouble for Black Lightning.
• Darkseid was created to be the big bad of Fourth World, particularly his son Orion. However, he's become a villain to the wide DCU and especially Superman since the '90s.

But honestly, I have a harder time naming such instances compared to Marvel where it feels like I can name like over 50 of them off the top of my head. Anything else of note?

There was a recent storyline in "Hal Jordan and the GLC" where they fought Zod.

There are so much that it's unlistable:

- Swamp Thing vilains attacking Animal Man
- Nightwing, The Suicide Squad or the Justice League have to take care of some of Batman's and Superman's vilains
- Aquaman vilains bothering the Justice League
- Wonder Woman having to join with the Justice League Dark
- Space vilains (from the Green Lantern Corps, the New Gods, ...) attacking earth
- Flash vilains bothering the world and other teams
- Shazam! vilains going against Superman
- Batman having trouble with some of Superman's vilains and Superman having trouble with some of Batman's vilains
- ...

• Mongul started out a Superman villain but became a Green Lantern villain.
• Ultra-Humanite started out a Superman villain but became a JSA villain.
• Parasite started out a Superman villain but became a Firestorm villain.
• The Shade started out a Flash (Jay Garrick) villain but became a friend to Starman (Jack Knight).

Poison Ivy fought Wonder Woman early on in her career. In fact, her story with her had the first take on her origin (where she was named "Lillian Rose" and involved her stealing a ancient Egyptian herb for a boyfriend)

Reverse Flash beat the hell out of Batman in The Button.
Batman also got framed by Lex Luthor during Fugitive.
Joker screwed with Superman during the Byrne Superman run.
Sinestro showed up in Tomasi’s Superman run.

After her first two appearances in BATMAN, Poison Ivy didn't show up again until in two issues of SUPERMAN'S GIRL FRIEND, LOIS LANE, in the Rose and Thorn back-up series. Note that all of these stories were written by Bob Kanigher, her co-creator. She also appeared in the Batman newspaper strip, but that doesn't really count.

Cyborg Superman also had a big arc to wrap up the "Green Lanterns" title earlier.

Firestorm and Outsiders villains have appeared in tons of places, esp. after those titles cancellations.

Some villain teams like the Brotherhood of Evil, Fearsome Five, and the Extremists are widely used.

I would like a story where Wonder Woman goes to Gotham City and just starts snapping the necks of all of Batman's unredeemable villains.

The classic version of Batman villain the Cavalier fought Wonder Woman in the 1970s. I thought this was a good change up, because Cavalier turned out to be a male chauvinist, so with his old-fashioned ways he made a nice contrast to Wonder Woman's progressive attitude.

Doctor Moon started out as a Batman villain (although he seems to specialize in assisting other more important villains) then he switched over to Wonder Woman, then to Richard Dragon, before going back to Batman.

The League of Assassins began with Deadman before becoming more of a Batman focused team--although they've tangled with many heroes.
