Love the idea, although not a fan of that cover by Granov where everyone seems possessed by an angry evil spirit. I'd probably have gone with something softer like Alex Ross recoloring Gil Kane's original cover or something.

Yeah, the real Krakoa! Y'all forgot about this one! The one made conscious and mutated by nuclear testing a few decades ago! The one that eats mutants! That sent out Cyclops to bring back more mutants so it could eat them all! The one Polaris and Storm threw into space!

It could just be for the sake of a variant but it would be cool if this turned out to be something in X-Factor:

Great idea, and honestly well worth picking up for any X-fan.

And, as it says, so many of the current generation of pros were influenced by this issue and the ones which came just after.

It fairly decent or good idea but honestly as an X-fan, I doubt there is any juice left in it given how Marvel tries to make more money out of this with other same titles(not this one) since Dead Genesis.
Though original GSX will always be remembered as a seminal moment for X-Men, others not but still.

    When there were actual villains.

Disd't they just have an ANAD celebration? I'd wait until 50th instead of an odd number like 45. Trying to cash in on the current Krakoa interest I guess
