    I think that The Fourth World by Jack Kirby should be concidered as a Maxi Serie.

    You know a maxi series I sort of forgot about, but recently rediscovered and loved all over again? JLA Year One from Waid/Kitson. We got a ton of JLA tie-ins and related stuff in the Morrison era, and some of it was really good (The Nail) and a lot of it wasn’t, but Year One is still my definitive JLA origin, even if the New 52 chucked it out the window.

    It was definitely on my list of contenders. Kitson's art is stellar. And yeah, Waid did a good job of salvaging the mess the Crisis left behind.
