based on various blog posts Priest has done in the past, allegedly every time he proposes characters, he gets turned down, and the counter-offer usually is bizarro-boy or something from his vantage point in the ultra obscure zone, or a black character that he feels is a typecasting-consolation prize.

For the Marvel world, I'd love to see him write one of the 1960s major characters/teams.

That would be cool. I like Daredevil and Iron Man, as mentioned by some here. Priest is really good at settings full of moral ambiguity and complexity, so he'd do well with those characters.

It's been very good so far. Although I am excited and scared to see the last issue of Ultron Agenda as I am worried what it going to happen to Tony.

I'd like to see him as writer of:

    1 Captain America
    2 Thor
    3 Wolverine
    4 Silver Surfer
    5 Spider-Man (Peter)
    6 Daredevil
    7 Avengers
    8 X-Men

Great suggestion! My choice would be the Avengers (Classic Version):

Sound interesting. Bringing back the entire creative team would be a HUGE plus in my book (XD)

As for my other choices, here's My Top (3) Three:

    Thunderbolts
(especially, if it involves Baron Zemo)

    The Punisher
(If anyone can top Ennis, it would be Priest)

    Dr. Doom
(would love to see how Priest handles Latveria)

I know I'd like to see him do at least a mini series.
AFAIK, Priest only wrote Doom a couple of times. The example from above from the Marvel Double Shots #2 and he also had Doom play a role in the international crisis in the Sturm und Drang arc in Black Panther.

Correct! Doom did indeed appear in Priest's run on Black Panther (1998):

Priest's tenure on Conan is largely forgotten today, which is unfortunate. Hopefully he can come back to it full time, soon.

Avengers. I imagine it'd be a more traditional take with a twist, as seems to usually be his style. I wonder who'd he put in the team. But I think he'd be an intresting choice to make an X-Factor book (although I no longer have the heart to read anything that comes from the X-Men side of Marvel).

    Peace
