It’s time for Yu to move on. He’s had a presence in the X-books for 20 years but has turned out very little work of quality. I don’t know what it is but it’s like he never brings his A-game to the X.

Love the New Mutants on this cover but these “different teams every issue” aren’t surprising if Cyclops is still only teaming up with characters from other books or his family.

Aw, that’s unfortunate! Yu is better when the work is sketchier with more shading. His more recent style just seems rushed and minimal, and minimalism just isn’t a good look on him. They’ve known about this relaunch for over year, so I feel like there isn’t much excuse for us to be getting subpar work from him. Originally Posted by Triniking1234
