Yeah, I know. I was talking in hypoteticals. Like "if they need an angry Wally by the lack of a good father-figure, I'd prefer Rudy to be an abusive parent than just "not there".

    Well, what can I do?
LOL, nothing! But thanks for asking. (y)

So ya, this is a brand new Wally West. Can't say we're off to good start with him so far IMO. He seemed rather miserable. I guess we'll see how he develops from here.

Except, of course, for the ones that aren't.

Not sure how I feel about Wally, but I liked everything else.

Somewhat. I'm not sure if EMERALD TWILIGHT and its aftermath could have happened exactly the way it did in the old continuity.

Additionally, all those old Bronze Age stories with Hal and Ollie are likely moot.

Wonder if his blue shirt is a little hint to the color costume he'll end up wearing.

There's still time. Wally's eyes were colored blue trough the entirety of Grant Morrison's JLA run.

I thought issue #30 was decent but did not do much to set the tone for this new team, but this issue was as much as I was hoping for. I really liked everything the introduced from Barry's personal and professional life to the threats to present and future Flash. Looking forward to finding out where it all leads.

The art caught me off guard at first but I thought Frenz did a good job for the most part and Booth did a great job capturing the anguish of future Barry and that battle with Grodd.
