I enjoyed this issue a lot. I loved the scenes with Wolverine and Quentin. I loved that they referenced how many thoughts he has per second. That was said in Grant Morrison's run. I loved Jean interacting with Magneto, Beast, and Sage. I loved Reyes being used (as well as the Healer). Percy is really good with these characters and their voices. Everyone had something to contribute.

This is my favorite X-book by far.

I have mixed feelings about the first issue, but this one definitely was an improvement. The pace and even the artwork were better in my opinion and feel like everyone in the group was contributing with something. I hope that Percy can keep this level of quality.

I can actually believe Xavier orchestrated... Or allowed... The hit on him. Might be the only worthwhile angle to come out of immortality.

This was absolutely excellent. Really loving this book. It has me hyped to read Percy's Wolverine.

Great issue had me wanting more by the end, I'm especially happy with how this issue cleared up many of the concerns voiced about the previous one. I'm detecting an undercurrent of romantic tension between Erik and Charles and have been for quite some time and I want more now!

Especially enjoyed the use of every character their roles and how they played off one another. One issue and we have Jean/Mags, Logan/Quire, Beast/Jean, Jean/Sage, Celilia/Sage, Black Tom, Healer. Please tell me again why we can't have more series like this where everyone gets meaningful and thoughtful interactions?

Duggan/Marauders should take notes from X-force. This is how you do an ensemble book, you spread the wealth around and everyone gets panel time and contributes. Reading this you get the sense that everyone is playing their part and no one is overshadowing anyone else. Sage was as equal as Logan as was Jean and Quentin. And the story being told is excellent, this is hands down the best book of Dawn of X, looking forward to Logan's solo with Percy at the helm.

Oh, looks like the bald guy was supposed to be Ink. Still don’t know who gauntlet person was supposed to be.

An editor finally realized Ink isn’t a mutant?

It’s very funny that Ink has been kicked out from the X-Men. Also why did Cassara draw Omega Sentinel?? In what possible version of Hickman’s overarching story would allow that?

Lost in the rush, I guess. Crowd shots are supposed to be complex things.

Neither are Magneto, Gambit, or Sunfire. They're technically mutates since they all lost their powers during decimation and had to have new ones grafted on.
"A happy ending? So unlikely. We're not having a moment here.

Wrong city, wrong people, all huddling in fear.

No one escapes the slaughterhouse, and that's just where you're at.

Do they all still have an X-Gene? If so then they're technically mutants.

    Good issue.
Like others have said, it's safe to say this is indeed the most enjoyable X-Book of the (re)launch.
What I "worry" about however is consistency and how long Percy & Co can keep it up.
Fingers crossed that this run rivals Remender's run.

I spotted a wild Banshee. Is this his first appearance in Krakoa?
