Default Shazam Reveals His 'Ultimate Power' and Creates a New... Shazam!?

    Article here.

I think the coloring of the uniform and the character's skin tone may be a really obscure callback to the "reverse Captain Marvel" character in Shazam (1973) #19, which makes me wonder if this character won't turn out to be a bad guy.

Seems like it. But doesn't Billy need to feel like they're his family for them to keep their powers? If he does anything evil Billy ought to be able to depower him.

Three things: one, I was disappointed by the reveal, but I am willing to abide my time to see what comes out of this. Two, I have a feeling that this latest development is only temporary. And three, the clue can be found in this latest issue.

Reversed colors always show evil intentions.

"Nobody is more dangerous than he who imagines himself pure in heart; for his purity, by definition, is unassailable." James Baldwin
