So, what is supposed to happen in the last issue?

1. We need to have a replacement for Nick Fury
2. We need to learn who actually killed the Watcher, because he was still alive when Nick showed up. But Nick did take the second eye of the Watcher.
3. Fury and Midas have it out on the moon.
4. We learn why Midas had the Mindless Ones and why they could think.
5. We learn how the world has now changed because of the secrets.

Maybe the killer will turn out to be another Watcher, pissed because Uatu got to do all the fun stuff, while they effectively had to stay home & watch TV.

My feelings as well. I hope we are right. I don't like the idea of Nick Fury putting a Gamma bullet in the Watcher, in the same spot the Orb shot him, and then gauging out his last eye.

Well I don't like the idea that first Midas or whoever attacked and took one eye and then left, then Nicky came along, took the other eye and left and then someone else came along and killed him.

At this point, who cares? It's a terrible story that needs to just end. I was disappointed it was delayed until next week, not to read it, but just to get it done and over with so we can move on. Ugh. Axis can't start soon enough.

It looks like Thor gets to be worthy for the hammer again after this, because in Uncanny Avengers, Thor still has the hammer. So whatever Fury said to Thor, it can be undone pretty much straight away.

Uncanny Avengers is the most disconnected title at Marvel right now, continuity-wise... who the hell knows how that book fits in anywhere. It gives me headache.

Have to admit I was kinda bored with this issue. Somewhat interested in seeing Fury as basically the new Watcher though.
