Is anyone else just a little bothered that the female characters have to have narrow waists drawn onto their bodies?

Well LEGO Batman 3 is technically a LEGO DC Universe game, but slapping "Batman" on it will equal a lot more sales than "DC Universe".

Yeah, een ignoring the sexist "undertones", it makes them look really weird.

LOL that's exactly what I was about to post. The female lego characters creep me out.

It's probably the non-variant cover art.

I thought it was just part of the costume and now that you pointed it out I can't unsee it... very disturbing.

Female Lego minifigures have looked like that for almost as long as I can remember.
Either way, I must have this variant!

I'm more bothered by the fact that LEGO superheroes now are based on Nu52 designs.

What! No Equinox! No Animal Man!

Would not mind the figures - though agree that Stargirl looks just weird - trading Super Girl's legs with another figure is an easy fix. Maybe Batman needs to show his legs for once.

It bothers me. I think they started it when they added human skin tones, but I am not sure. I only noticed it a year ago when I bought all of the Batman lego.

It was in the Lego movie as well. There really is no reason for it.
