Default Have a Super Thanksgiving Weekend!

Here in the United States, it's the national holiday known as Thanksgiving.

The origins of said holiday are ... problematic to say the least, but the activity (reuniting with family and/or friends for a feast to give thanks for what you have) is very much worthwhile.

Which brings to mind a question:

Are there any good Superman Thanksgiving stories?

He's an American icon for over 80 years, and I know there are plenty of Superman Christmas stories and Halloween stories, but I'm blanking on that Middle Child of the Holiday Season for Supes.

Any candidates out there for the Greatest Superman Thanksgiving Stories Ever Told?

Enjoy your Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans, Cranberries, and/or whatever else you put on your plate today while laughing/arguing with your relatives!

Happy Thanksgiving! In honor of thanksgiving I found a nice used copy of True Brit?

Thanksgiving comes up occasionally but maybe for simple reasons doesn't seem to be in the plot. The best I might even suggest would be the Kents of the old west.

Kind of a weird thing when the idea is centered around a meal and the lead character doesn't even need to eat.

Superboy #36 (1954) has a turkey carving thanksgiving themed cover by Curt Swan for the story "Superboy's Sister" [writer unknown, it's edited by Mort Weisinger, with art by John Sikela] where Lana Lang daydreams about living with the Kents and that Clark Kent Superboy is her brother and that he's carving a turkey.

Superboy #59 (1957) has a cover by Al Plastino that looks thanksgiving themed with the Kent family having a turkey dinner.

JSA #54 (2004) has the thanksgiving cover by Carlos Pacheco for the thanksgiving story "Virtue, Vice & Pumpkin Pie" [written by Geoff Johns and art by Don Kramer].

Has access to any clothing he can imagine but won't wear a shirt to the dinner table. C'mon J'onn.

And what about the Atom, with his boots on the table? (he's right next to J'onn). You'd think a world-renowned scientist would have better manners.

    Happy turkey day everybody!

It doesn't seem like we are going to get a Thanksgiving episode of Supergirl this season.

That brings up another point here. So maybe there are NO great modern Superman Thanksgiving stories in the comics.

What about on the small screen?

His 4 live-action solo series must have at least one Thanksgiving episode between them, right? S:TAS?

Man, this holiday is truly underserved.
