I prefer Kris Anka's than the other.

Possibly my favorite Doctor Strange outfit. However I was just thinking, perhaps Strange is done the wrong way around. He's been often in public shown using an illusion of normal clothing which he then dispels when in action or in his home etc, but perhaps it should be the other way around. He actually wears a dapper suit and tie and just conjures up a magical illusion costume to impress/intimidate his foes?

I remember when critics accused him of trying to be a member of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

Like a mystical aura sort of thing? Could work.

Yes, a sort of magical real time CGI (I suppose it should be called MGI ) or faerie glamour. It wouldn't require any addition to his powers as he already uses this ability, just with a different intent and result.

Actually, that reminds me of something David Quinn did at the end up his Salome arc, with the "aetheric armor"

Sounds like a twist on the magical girl transformation. Cool.
