Rictor’s gone through so many costume changes since Secret Wars. The New Tian tracksuit, Dead Souls uniform, and post-Shatterstar clarity anarchist. Hopefully the Excalibur one sticks but with the way Krakoa works, I hope we see all those costumes sooner or later.

To be fair, that did last for the remainder of that New Warriors series, which was several years. It was replaced when she and Justice joined the Avengers, and Wasp gave them both new costumes.

That new Spider-Woman costume didn't catch on cuz
(1) it looked like crap when other artists did it; and
(2) it didn't match the skin tight look of the other spider characters.

Way back in X-Force v1 #75, the team went to a "Burning Man" and ran into an old friend with a new look.

Karma went back to her original appearance when she came back years later, and it sucked. After a shaved head and a pink dyejob, a smart bob and headband is just plain sad.

...That's Karma ?

And that's why they ditched it.

I remember this Wonder Man costume that debuted in West Coast Avengers #12 getting massively unpopular reactions in the letter pages. It got dropped after about a year.

I liked it too, but the super long skirt always seemed a bit much. Especially for a woman in heels, the chances of her tripping on it were astronomical...

Conversely, neither did movie-accurate Star Lord either before Kris Anka's redesign hit.
