I liked the preview. Cool to know each Hellfire color got their own 'home' even-though they all look pretty weird.
Shaw seems to be written very in-character, which is a relief after all the cult talks of most others. Sebastian does not seem to be oh-so-happy to be a citizen of Krakoa. Wonder what he will be up to.
I do look forward to know what the rest of the new Inner Circle will look like.

YES! Just goin by NM+XF #2s this week and now these Mrds+XM #3 previews for neXt, the DoX books actually seem to be getting STRONGER, with their latest installments.
Without a doubt:
… that aspect's DEFINITELY a HIGHLIGHT, of this awesome new era.
Oh, and WELCOME BACK, ya lil bastard:
… you'll fit right in! ;p
His pheromone power is just one problem (but it's problematic enough). The other is when his bisexuality is used as a weapon only like in Winter's End when he hooks up with a woman and two men at the same time only to betray them all and to gain something. Fun use of bisexuality... Anytime when Daken's sexuality gets some focus, something like this happens. That's why my first statement
we can argue about this but it's unnecessary. The whole character is a bunch of stereotypes, starting with his daddy issues and to this depraved bisexual trope. It's not like I came up with it or I'm the only one noticed it. If it's not a problem for you, fine, but sure it is for many bisexual readers.
How egregious! And disturbing!
Marvel really needs to get rid of all those villains who use their "persuasion" powers and their bodies diabolically. Because really, what is the true message they are sending to vulnerable readers who might might themselves face to face with someone like Purple Man or Daken?
Because you know...there are no bisexuals, heterosexuals, homosexuals, etc...who don't use their charm and sexuality, their bodies and intelligence diabolically in the real world for their own gain and pleasure.

Lord Ewing *Praise His name! Uplift Him in song!* Your divine works will be remembered and glorified in worship for all eternity. Amen!
Seriously? Since when is it a problem that representation matters to readers? It has nothing to do with being a villain... Queer characters can be villains. It's more like how Marvel generally treats queer characters, but ok.
Interesting that's the only thing he's allowed to do...
