Hopefully Prodigy finds a space in the DoX too. And hopefully if Madin can’t be used or Fauna’s identity can’t be outright confirmed, then Hickman can at least do something for representation.
I meant it in general at Marvel, but I like too what I saw in dox so far, especially Marauders with the addition of Christian and Shinobi, that made me happy and more excited for the book. I really get it why it rubs you the wrong way about the entire community’s representation, there’s still so much to improve… But maybe one day we get there.
But sadly Daken has no home yet, he’s just showed up alive on Krakoa but isn’t included or confirmed in any book to have any role yet… neither does Shatterstar, which actually surprised me, but maybe he’s in a second wave book. But I don't like that he and Rictor broke up (again?)

Glad that rictor green power signature looks so nice and distinctive ... See his powers like this wish he had screen time with Storm and Iceman to talk about being an elemental.. the Telepaths & other psioncis get to reflect on their powers but elementals dont get that type of love.

    Hmm
so if someone describes something as having "...Good LGBTQ+ Representation...' when it contains Bisexual sexuality
It would be misleading false narrative?

YES! I've long thought the Mutant elementals should bond & converse together more as a group, about their abilities, much like the psionics do. When it comes to powers & their potential, they are basically the bookends, and act as complimentary practices/skill sets. One is more geared to affecting aspects of the environment in its entirety, while the other, various beings & things that dwell within it. Together, they can control & master the primary, fundamental forces of nature/the world, as well as all the entities that inhabit/populate it. Another commonality between the two, is that each can exercise both eXtreme offensive moves, AND highly protective measures. Together, it's imaginable they could achieve near omnipotence.

Plus there’s a big element (pun intended) being introduced regarding the untapped potential and therefore extension of mutant powers when used in conjunction with each other. Hinted at with the Cuckoos but further confirmed when Trinary, Cuckoos, Beast, Storm, and Xavier all worked in tandem with Marvel Girl and Penance to keep a link not only to Cerebro but to Krakoa from millions of miles away. Who’s to tell what elemental power they can display? Would love to see Storm, Iceman, Rictor, Firestar, and Rockslide doing something badass.

If it only contains positive bisexual rep, then I’d say yes. When you include the entire acronym, it leads me to believe I’d also find good rep in gay, lesbian, trans, and potentially other sexual/gender marginalized groups. It’s good to hone in on who is specifically being targeted in that medium.

Although it isn’t a team book, I believe Daken will be showing up in Percy’s Wolverine solo. Though, yeah, that isn’t really a substantial role like we see with Iceman in Marauders or Rictor in Excalibur. Small chance but I hope he gets on a Wave II roster. As for Shatterstar, hate that his and Ric’s relationship ever since they came back from Mojoworld has been: “we’re on a break”....”we’re not dating”....”one of us are dead so i’ll silently grieve the whole time”.....”we’re ambiguously back together” cycled over and over. If it’s gonna come down to that then (unpopular opinion) I’d rather they just explore new relationships because there’s no way that isn’t emotionally draining.

I wonder if anyone will ever touch on that completely random “Prodigy has a crush on Rictor” moment in Dead Souls. Also have Daken and Prodigy ever met? Just uh asking for a friend.

I think the idea of merging powers is going to be explored somewhere. It was like the Life X response to Chimeras, but only combining powers and not DNA. Plus it had a nice connection to the Phalanx storyline.

Imagine Storm, Iceman, Magma, Rictor, Magneto and Polaris using their powers together in a war situation. Everyone is screwed.

You know, I absolutely wouldn't mind if the relationship dynamic between 'Star and Ric was that they're good for each other, crazy for each other, but they just can't seem to get it together long-term (and the crazy bullshit of the superhero life doesn't help). Hence bouncing in and out of each other's orbits. But that would need to be actually explored, and the readers need to be able to see the good and bad on page, as opposed to "whoops, they went on break between the panels". Again. Otherwise, we're getting the fallout without the fun of the actual drama.

Oh, that's right. The combining and/or coordinating of multiple, miXed Mutant powers in synchronicity, could lead to some REALLY wild, remarkable heretofore unseen feats. Not only is what you mention a prime eXample from HoX, but so is The Five's resurrection process. Maybe even the Krakoan defensive system(s) enabled by Beast, Forge, Sage, Trinary, and Black Tom, could be viewed as such, also.

I'd like to add Magneto, Polaris, Sunfire, Magma, Dust, Pyro, and Avalanche to the elementals list, just to name a few. Who else is there though, ya think?

Two other subgroups based on like abilities, that quickly come to mind, are the teleporters (Nightcrawler, Magik, Blink) & shapeshifters (Mystique+).

Then there's others, Rogue, Synch, Mimic, and Hope, for instance.

The various energy absorbers/blasters/generators/manipulators/wielders (Cyke, Havok, Gambit, Bishop, Banshee/Siryn, Dazzler, Jubilee, Boom-Boom, Sunspot, Cannonball, etc.), would probably be the biggest & most diverse segment, pretty easily... I would guess.

Metamorphs like Colossus, Husk, Mondo, etc. (Archangel?... Wolfsbane?), would be a separate category that falls under the shapeshifter designees, I figure. Ditto empaths (Mirage?), the more basic illusionists+charm inducers, and other specialists (Karma), with the more traditional TP/TK psionics.

I’d be really interested in datapages on the subsets of mutants, as you detailed above.
Ability subsets and the Omega/Alpha/Beta/Gamma levels.

Not in a ‘Top Trumps ‘ my power is stronger than yours kind of way, but to get a picture of the overall spread of abilities and levels. Moira and/or Sinister will have such a list.
And I’m always interested in the gammas, in that sort of Star Trek below decks kind of way. The underdogs always have a fascinating story to tell (they don’t get to live on the moon and literally look down on everyone).

Thinking of the established mutant connections that have been made:

    The Five - resurrection machine

Xavier/Cuckoos/Trinary/Storm/Beast - telepathic connectivity far wider than any individual telepath working alone

    Dazzler/Siryn - amplification of Dazzler’s power

even White Queen/Mirage (one of the earliest examples of mutant power synergy) - total suspension of all senses to a nightmarish illusion of your worst fears

As for elementals: the other Pyro, the other Avalanche, Dryad, Hydro, Washout (water elementals could be tasked with defending the waters near Krakoa from invading ships), Nature Girl, Flourish, Petra, Wind Dancer, Surge, Stinger, Base

All those players controlling the primordial forces should be scary for anyone opposing Krakoa

There does not have to be a complete gay cast for gay people to like the series. Getting a bit tired of people acting like the cast would be awesome if all characters would be gay.
