No doubt about it. Bizarrely Simmons isn't thinking of what that does the the characters' viability in Rumbles. I mean, if you go by the first fight, Nemes is herself more than a match for the Shrike: she's no-selling it, bending it's phase-shifted spikes and actually damaging the thing. But in every other encounter between a Vatborn and the Shrike, it obliterates them.
