Could the Transformers Exist Without Marvel?

Power Rangers has Marvel to thank for it's existence as well. Spider-Man had a robot in his toku show, they made Battle Fever J the following year, the third entry in the Super Sentai series (the second entry, JAKQ, had been cancelled early, so adding the robot was a way to retool the franchise), and gave them a robot too. It was a success, and Super Sentai has had giant robots ever since. Sentai 16, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, was adapted as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Since Zyuranger wouldn't have existed if Battle Fever had flopped and Sentai had been axed in 1979, that means Spider-Man, or more specifically, Leopardon, is the reason Power Rangers exists.

marvel should come out with their own "Transformers"/mecha sci fi saga at this point. Unless they're going to get the Hasbro license again, they should come up with something of their own. of course, will this alter the relationship with Hasbro to make Marvel toys? lol..

It would probably fail miserably since everyone would see it as a TF knockoff. Also Hasbro did to Marvel Transformers and they were pretty poor
