I kinda hate this? It’s cool that we get to know more about Scalphunter and Empath but with alllll the mutants they could have given a starring role, I’m not with Nanny and Orphan-Maker lol.

Hellions... with no member of the most recent Hellions, one member of the original Hellions, and no one higher than B- List. Hard pass. This is even more random than the Marauders titles. Will this even tie into the Hellfire Club. Hard pass most likely.

Uncanny XMen only had one original member when it relaunched in 1975. XForce 2008 only had one original member. Admiteddly this one sucked but its still got plenty of fans. People just love to bitch unnecessarily.

The current Excalibur has NONE of the original members lol.

Writers get a lot more freedom with B C D list characters, and I like Empath, Scalphunter and WildChild

Weird that Empath is still poncing around in his kiddy team uniform. He needs some sort of matador themed outfit if he’s at all serious about getting in the next Marvel vs Capcom.

i'm onboard. at least it isn't the usual mutants. i like that the team leans villain. they aren't wannabes like Julian Keller. i can take or leave Wildchild. i get a bad 90s grunge vibe from him. i remember X-Factor giving him a little too much of the spotlight. but i guess they have some stuff to mine with him. what will he think of Sabretooth being exiled?

Every current teambooks cast is comprised of mostly A/B lister with the odd reformed villain among the ranks. Im sure the line can survive one book with a majority of minor characters. These books tend to be able to take more risks and can uncover the next breakout character. Also hopefully they wont have the rabid fans other series discussions have been plagued with.
