Dude during the X-Men: Gold era if you had told me i would enjoy a Kitty Pryde led book as much as I did Marauders #3 I woulda spit in your eye and called you a liar.....and for that I apologise cause you woulda been right

I've actually disliked Kitty since before GOLD even happened. Imagine my pain!

Kate always just reminded me too much of unlikeable girls I met in college. Her sheltered yet I'm better than you attitude hit too close to home for me that she's always kind of made me cringe.

And I still feel that way! But now I at least find it well written. I don't mind having well written characters I don't like in my books. But when I don't like them AND they're badly written? UGH.

I meant that the issue wasn’t about Kate and her crew on a ship doing what they’re doing like in the first two issues of the series, but focused on Sebastian and Shinobi only. It was right in the issue clearly, so it should be clear what I meant

Why did Shinobi kill himself in Rosenberg's run? I tuned so much of that grimdark nonsense out. I think Emma did a lot of manipulating people, but I didn't think she was involved in that.

I liked this issue a lot. It has been my fav issue of this series so far. I loved Shaw and Shinobi. Pyro was still a joke character but the rest was pretty good. At least we didn't have drunk kitty or Kitty saving the day while Storm and Iceman watch.

Not surprising at all that Shinobi offed himself. He was always presented as a decadent brat suffering from affluenza. The kind of Byronic sad sack Brett Eason Ellis writes novels about.

He killed himself because he would rather die than to be captured by the human general that had Emma under his thumb and be used.

I think he was afraid of what she'll do to him while under control of that military Dude+ He haaad to get outta there

Really enjoyed this issue. Sometimes I find entire issues devoted to character building to be boring, but this one kept me interested. Good week for art on the X-books as well, I was impressed with all three.
