It was a response to Kitty being teleported to the Krakoa mainland. The excuse given was that she'd be stuck there bc she'd have no way of getting out without Illyana porting her out. Nah, any flier could easily get Kitty back to the beach and let her sail on her merry way

That wouldn't work because it's all an elaborate attempt to protect Colossus from Kitty. Krakoa has his back.

Orchis couldn't intercept it on Hox. i doubt any country could do the same

Orchis also wasn't mounted with Stark-tech anti-aircraft missiles. They weren't expecting an attack from outside the station. Meanwhile, both Russia and Sokovia have that tech.

i guess they were hidden and thought mutants weren't going to catch them.

Anyway it is very suspend of believe they can catch a airship but not a naval ship

They can easily shoot down both. Logic says they would just have Pixie and Magik do everything, since stopping them is virtually impossible. But if they did that, the story wouldn't exist.
