    Default Looking for elseworld recommendations.

So here’s the deal: a few years ago, I read JLA: Riddle of the Beast. I found it to be super interesting and I liked it a lot. I was wondering if there were other elseworld stories with a similar feel that might be of interest. Now, I’m not picky (That’s actually a bold faced lie, I am picky.) but, I’m even willing to look at stories that are not fantasy. With that said, got any recommendations?

    Here is a nice list:

    - Batman & Dracula trilogy by the great Dough Moench - illustrated by the strange Kelley Jones- collected in ELSEWORLDS: BATMAN VOL. 2 (Red Rain + Bloodstorm + Crimson Mist)

    - Batman by Mike Mignola (Hellboy): Gotham by Gaslight + The Doom That Came to Gotham - a steampunk version of Gotham - collected in The DC Universe by Mike Mignola (along his Superman, Swamp Thing and Phantom Stranger).

    Have fun

Justice Riders is one of my favorite Elseworlds books.

Superman War of the Worlds is another.

I’ve read Multiversity and Kingdom Come.

It seems Gotham by Gaslight is rather popular. I’ll have to check that one out.

Nice, I’ll have a look. Are there any you were particularly fond of?

Mike hit most of my favorites, but I will still give a shout out to The Golden Age. A crazy JSA story set in the 1950's.

In total agreement about Gotham by Gaslight. But don't forget the sequel: Master of the Future.

One of the BEST stories to come outta DC period.
Go read this book NOW! You'll be glad you did as it is simply brilliant.
