Looks like Trout has finally gotten some big time help in the Angels lineup. However, I think they still need pitching to keep up with the Astros in AL West, but having another bopper is a positive.

I know the big, huge paydays for Strasburg and Cole are the talking points, but I'm still going to focus on everything that happens between MLB and Minor League Baseball, given that MLB wants to eliminate around 25% of MiLB starting in 2021, reduce the levels of organized teams from 6 (AAA, AA, High A, A, Short Season A, and Rookie Advanced) to just 4 with Short Season A & Rookie Advanced being axed. I know my team, the Indianapolis Indians, are going to be safe, given how the team has been around since 1902 and has ingrained ownership for the past 50+ years and a great ballpark, but I am far more concerned about the system in general.

That's specifically for minor leaguers. Thankfully. It's about time.

All clubs extending netting for safety, too.

Texas Rangers acquire Corey Kluber from Cleveland for Delino Deshields Jr. and reliever Emmanuel Clase.

Rangers rotation is looking pretty good for next year.

MadBum is off the table. He signed a five year, $85 million dollar deal with Arizona.

Hyun-Jin Ryu agrees to 4-year, $80M deal with Blue Jays.

Dallas Keuchel signs 3 year $55.5 million deal wit the White Sox.

Most of the big name pitching is now off the free agent market, so we will see what kind of trades start happening with teams who missed out beefing up their rotations.

The Jays are going to have a really interesting team this year. Their rotation is being made more solid with Ryu and their lineup is bolstered Bichette, Biggio and Guerrero. They need like one more sure hitting outfielder and they may be contenders.

White Sox continue to spend money on veteran free agents, signing Edwin Encarnacion to a 1 year $12 million deal with an option for a second year also at $12 million.

They have added a lot of veteran talent; looks like they think there is a window to take the Central next season (and they're not wrong, but I am not sure there's is the best way to go for it, but a lot of their deals have been for 1 or year contracts so they can get away form them if it goes south fast).
