I love them. For the amount of money single issues cost now, it's nice to have some content to READ.

If they were integrated more into the narrative, we'd either have awkward exposition dump dialogue (which people complain enough about already) or it would be decompressed or the art may fail to convey the point.

I dig the data pages. A little extra reading beats some throwaway panels barely mentioning stuff like this in passing. The data pages allow for context and a deeper understanding, allowing for a greater focus for application on-panel later on in the arc.

Personally, I think it'd be more effective to hear some of this info coming from the character's mouth.

I like them too. Especially stuff like Sinister Secrets and the message board we just saw in Excalibur #3.

These were the BEST.
Sinister is suddenly one of the best characters.

I hate them. I wish they were used more sparingly and the writers/artist revealed more of this within the actual panels

This. I enjoyed them during HOX/POX. Some of them were really well done but enough is enough already. Explain what you need to with the writing and art in actual panels.

I appreciate the data pages for (WildFangX's perfect reason)
and...I want more detailed maps of the various Krakoa/Arakko regions as well as habitats around the globe (like we got of the Summer House on the moon in XM 01).
