8 out of 10 are Marvel. Only an Image book and a Bat book got in the way. DC need to get their house in order, if they want to knock the mutants and spiders off their perch anytime soon. Hickman, Spencer, keep it up!

Sure shows the power that Hickman has to bring an audience to a previously moribund corner of the MU.

I imagine if DC launched a lot of seminal titles with new #1's, they would probably all make it into the top 10 or thereabouts.

I foresee more Bat-elseworld stories as we speak.

I mean, Marvel is probably going to keep doing Symbiote events, so it's only fair .

I'm getting that weird feeling I get when I realize that some of those comics are good but still aren't worth the price.

I have been getting that feeling a lot lately.

Marvel made a Big Deal out of this (and it has probably paid off so far more than Big Deal Bendis going to DC) so I am curious to see how long that lasts in a couple months with the follow up books. However, a $4.99 book called Fallen Angels with no cast worth mentioning (okay, X-23) making Top 5 is something.

$5 for a comic. Marvel loves to price hike.

They're definitely good but they're so expensive

FA turned out to be DOA. Just not due to low sales. Question is, will Hellions, it's replacement, do as well? That book doesn't have Laura or Cable in it.

There's no indication hellions will replace FA.

Hill's tweet https://twitter.com/bryanedwardhill/...21631653724160 could be, and probably has been, read by some to mean that Hellions is replacing FA, but it just as easily reads that Hill will be setting up some stuff that Wells will be using in his story (and vice versa).

Marvel is taking no prisoners in a niche market where sales are dependent on relaunches, crossovers, and variant covers.
