I adore those ideas as well. Mandarin look with red, shadow powers and minor telepathy would distinct her from Ninja Betsy and also would be more respectful for her without loosing the cool factor.

Idk if I could every see her as "evil" but definitely morally grey . maybe sinister's influence'll get to her though...god I love them. we WILL be seeing her clash w/ her teammates and Ill live for every second

people complained about the cast, but now it seems they were all picked for a specific reason, they are all connected in some way

there are 2 themes

cloning/clones

motherhood

Sinister is connected to Madelyne and Scalphunter through cloning, Scalphunter is the most cloned character, probably, almost disposable, die, make new clone, which is related to the Krakoa resurrections. Krakoa basically made every mutant a Marauder, those clones that worked for Sinister, and if they died Sinister would make new ones with the same personality. Psylocke is also related to the cloning theme.

Madelyne is related to both Havok and Empath through the sexual relationship she had with both.

Madelyne, Nanny and Orphan Maker are related by the whole motherhood fatherhood thing. And I think Wild Child will be in there too, although he should be the same age as the new mutants. he was a criminal kid in alpha flight and had a son adoptive father relationship with Sabretooth in which Sabretooth abused him badly.
The story is probably designed for eveyrthing to fit perfectly like a clock
And someone may remember the daughter of Havok and Wasp that was erased by Kang

Nanny looks fabulous she got every girl on Krakoa gagged. Psylocke and Wild Child are the only real bad looking ones and as much as I love the Goblin Quuen look I want to see Maddie in something fresh.
