Ive been rewatchingnthe first few eps tonight.
The talk Pat had with Mike in episode 2 when he was called to pick him up from school. Pat talled about how when he was his age he played video games and his favorite was paper boy on Atari. Since that game camr out innthe mid 80's, SSK and Stripeswere clearly debuting in the 90s. After mike is like 10 and Pat said he was 20 when he and Sylvester put masks on to save Syl's parents.

Yeah, there is no doubt about it now, though even I thought some type of time travel could have occurred not that long ago.

Suspension of disbelief and all, but I have a hard time seeing the 90s heroes have the 40s fashion sense, lol

Comic book shows sometimes merge styles from different times. The Batman animated series in the 1990s, for instance, clearly had modern technology, yet the cars were all in 1940s styles, all the TVs were black and white and football players were depicted wearing leather helmets.

Right. The Burton films also did it, but to a lesser degree.

I'm really curious to see what Shade's motivation will be...he's not overtly villainous unless he's in the mood.

Far from perfect, but I thought it was pretty good overall, yeah

Behind the scenes stuff made it clear Geoff was heavily involved in the making of the show. He even wrote quite a few episodes.

I think it was pretty fun and great myself .

I think they held back a lot on the unnecessary gore you sometimes seem in Johns' work, so there is that .

Of the current live action shows? It became my favorite. A lot of good stuff in it. Though, some was rushed, but being 13 episodes or so, that's somewhat expected.

It's my favorite of the DCU live action shows. Best special effects team by far.
