Different show and a flashback sequence, I would say that is a safe bet.

Oh man, back when Flash was only at Season 2. Those were the days.

I'm one of the few people who actually preferred Season 2 to Season 1. But then.....yeah. Season 3 was a major letdown. Season 4 was an atrocity. It got a bit better afterwards, but still not nowhere near as good as before.

I always thought THE FLASH was a perfectly good super-hero show. I have no argument with it on that level. It's all the behind the scenes drama on the Arrowverse shows--people getting fired, producers acting badly, actors being written off--that's what I can't take. Gets in the way of just enjoying a show on its own merits.

I can see something like this happening to STARGIRL, too. All it takes is for Geoff Johns to become a public pariah and then . . .

It was, early on. Then season three was a thing and it's been up and down since, more down than up IMHO.

Hope that they do have JWS in a totally new looking suit for the show. Excited to see the flashback.

If they can keep going with Flash, which has reached it's expiration date. They should renew this fun, fresh show.

It is very strange I would not renew any show until I saw the ratings for at least part of the current season. But since they have skipped that for other shows why not Stargirl? For that matter how can it be on the bubble before they see the ratings?
