Yeah, he's in it for his experiments and what he can achieve with them more or less.

That we know of. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hazard pop up when we get a new ISA with the other kids.

The Japanese werent fascist, they were imperialist who beleived they had a better plan for the world than other societies because they beleived they followed the guidance of the devine. They followed what they believed was the emperors decree as they believed he had a devine right to rule. What most didnt know was that factions in the military had interperated what they beleived the Emperor wanted and had decieved the people of Japan into following their military goals.

The military had been given the right to nominate the army minister in 1900 and it was revoked in 1913 and reinstated in the 30s. This was over concerns irresponsible politicians would abuse the power of control of the military. Instead it meant factions within the military guided and controlled state policy and what was portrayed as the will of the emperor

Sportsmaster wants the best for the members of his gym and their physical health, and both Tigress and Sportsmaster insisted that Gambler actually pick up his trash and not liter.

They're wackjobs sure, but they do want what they see as a 'better world'.

I called that a week ago. If they aren't bringing him back (I guess it's still possible, but seems unlikely), that would a nice way to have him beat his father as he did in the comics.

It will probably still be Jakeem, but even if he was introduced nearly 20 years ago, he's had very little presence in that time. But I do see Mike being more interested in working alongside his dad now -- behind the scenes.

I don't know if anyone discussed this before, but Pat/Stripesy was very strong in the comics. I'm sure he would have squashed Sportsmaster. I can see why they didn't go that route, but even though Stripesy was the 'sidekick', he was the muscle -- Sylvester was the brains.

I agree. His role seems kinda questionable given his previous appearances. And we never did a get a payoff for him making use of the Wizard's body.

Imperialism is a foreign policy not a form of government see the Roman, British and many other empires. For that matter both the Nazis and Italian fascists were also imperialists.

So you build a secret evil lair. But you take the extra time to make it look like a Hollywood version of a dungeon with gas torch light and faux stone walls?
And you are a Japanese war criminal, not an evil British Lord.

Should have killed Tigress and Sportsmaster when they were down. This isn't a game of bean bag but the usual superhero wussy nonsense. Also if Pat and Barbara bought a couple of 1911s and practiced a bit, they could have taken them down in the beginning. A handheld crossbow is not an impressive weapon.

I get leaving Tigress because they needed to get the hell out of there. But Pat should have at least shattered Sportsmaster's knees with his big ass wrench while he was down.

    I still wonder a few things going into next season and what not;
Will Tigress end up paralyzed like in the comics?
Will Artemis end up a hero, or more a villain?
Will Mike become a member of the Justice Society? Perhaps as the new STRIPE?

If the CW can't afford Luke Wilson for next season I see this happening.

Until last night's episode, he looked like he was headed towards the Injustice Society instead.

Beth's goggles are really becoming a sore point. This character needs a complete overhaul if she's to leave any impresson beyond being another annoying CW/DC nerd.

The AI in the goggles are apparently her best friend and none of the other CW tech nerds had that.
