Default Most Important Comics of the Decade

As the title suggests, the decade is coming to a close and im interested in hearing what you feel are the most important comics on the decade.
The word “important” can be defined however you like it. Could he favourites that will be classics for years to come or introductions of characters/themes that similarly helped change the MU.
    So hit em up.

Secret Wars (2015) was the first book that came to mind. One of my favourite events.

A certain sort of X-fan would say HoxPoxDox. Arguably, it's true, but not a universal sentiment.

    Within Marvel:

-- Ms. Marvel (2013) by G. Willow Wilson, because Kamala Khan
-- Captain Marvel (2012) by Kelly Sue DeConnick, because Carol Danvers becomes Captain Marvel.
-- "Death of Spider-Man/Ultimate Fallout/Ultimate Spider-Man/Spider-Men" by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli. Miles Morales, 'Nuff said.
-- Thor: God of Thunder and Thor (2014) by Jason Aaron, Esad Ribic, and Russell Dauterman, for Gorr the God Butcher (who begat Knull and Cates' run), as well as Jane Thor.
-- Immortal Hulk by Al Ewing and Joe Bennett, because Immortal freaking Hulk.
-- Hawkeye by Matt Fraction and David Aja.
-- "Journey into Mystery" by Kieron Gillen, for Kid Loki, which totally transformed the character.
-- Jonathan Hickman's Ultimates, where he introduced The Maker who has become an enduring villain.
-- Hickman's Avengers/New Avengers/Secret Wars run, for stuff such as the Black Order, the Incursions and God Doom.
-- HoX/PoX by Jonathan Hickman, Pepe Larraz, R. B. Silva, because the X-Men are back after more than a decade+.

Hickman is easily the most important writer for Marvel this decade.

Across all comics, the most important stories would be stuff like
-- SAGA by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples
-- The Wicked + The Divine by Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie.
-- Bitch Planet by Kelly Sue DeConnick and Valentine De Landro.
-- The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vols, 3-4, and Nemo:Heart of Ice by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill.
-- Hark A Vagrant! by Kate Beaton
-- Injustice Gods Among Us by Tom Taylor.
-- Sex Criminals by Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky.

I would say Secret Wars or Infinity, but they've been completely erased. It just makes them underwhelming.

Anyway, Phoenix Resurrection and Infinity. Jean Grey's resurrection was a chain reaction leading to the return of every dead mutant and the new status quo. Infinity because it lead Inhumanity, which brought Kamala and tried to push a Kirby creation that was a breath of fresh air to the same recycled characters we'd been getting for years.

I think Secret Wars will be more important in the coming years than we gave it credit for. We have Cates bringing in the Council of Reeds, we have Hickman on X-Men, and I just have a feeling that it may be coming to a head a bit.

    Kelly Sue Deconnick's Captain Marvel.
Hard to fathom now, but when it was released, it was the only female-led solo book from Marvel. That was just seven years ago!

This. And probably G. Willow Wilson's Ms. Marvel too.

    Mark Waid's Daredevil (2011)

-- Matt Murdock returns to Hell's Kitchen, and Waid writes how Daredevil re-establishes himself as a street-level vigilante/crime-fighter.

Had little impact and long-term consequence. Became a joke in Endgame.

It made CNN, NY Times, LA Times, WaPo, everywhere else, created a death cult on Twitter, was the main Marvel storyline for two years, and was referenced in one of the highest grossing movies of all time. It is above everything else that's not a legacy hero debut or a Hickman event.
