    Default X-Books Voting 2019

Another year has almost come and gone for Marvel’s mightiest mutants, and through there were debuts, deaths and stories told. Writers and artists both brought their best, and sometimes, their not-so-best to the table, and now it’s your chance to vote for your most (and least) favorites of 2019!

    X-Books voting 2019

In the early days this was done by worrstblogever, but as off 2016 he gave me his blessing to take it over.

You can submit your votes now!
Voting has started and stays open until the 1st week of January. You can edit/change your votes till the closing date.

    Voting Rules:
    1. Let us not start debating each-others votes, or how much we liked or dislikes everything, there are many other threads in which we can debate. Let us just vote.
    2. For any category, you can allocate a 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place candidate for any award. 1st place nods are worth 4 points, 2nd place two points and 3rd place receives 1 point. You will have to nominate 3 per category to make your vote count. If you only submit one candidate, they will not get full scores. In case totals will be the same, the amount first place votes will be used as a tiebreaker, should there be one.
    3. Please remember, if you insist on posting images of the covers, rather than just stating the issue number of the cover you’re nominating, that CBR only allows 4 images per post).
    4. When it comes time to vote, just Reply to this post, delete out this opening part, and fill in the ballot below under “Categories”. Or, cut and paste your post into a PM sent to Master of Sound if you want your vote to remain confidential. Thanks for any participation ahead of time!

For each of the categories, I will put in some suggestions. If you feel the nominees lists are missing candidates, please do not discuss, every candidate that gets votes, will b added to the suggestions.

Did you just love the return of the villains of the past, like Juggernaut and Black Tom, or did you like to see the Wrecking Crew finally in an X-title? Breakout Star of the Year
Choose three characters who you feel made the jump from the C or D-List, to the forefront, skirting the edge of, had exciting focus, or development, or possibly joining the ranks of the A-List of Marvel’s Mutants. So A-listers don't break out, they are suppose to be front and center. Did you love the focus on Armor and her squad or you really like Black Tom acting as a hero, or perhaps you really liked Pyro I or Pyro II becoming a hero?

    Nominees
    Apocalypse
    Bishop
    Black Tom Cassidy
    Captain (Betsy) Britain
    Cypher
    Emma Frost
    Glob Herman
    Krakoa
Kwannon (let's keep calling her that way)

    Debut Character of the Year
Choose three characters who had their first appearance in a comic book in 2019, that you feel as a result, have a big future in the X-verse. Did the cruel Moneta in Prisoner X make a great debut, or did you prefer one of the future hybrid mutants like Cardinal or Rasputin? If you have other nominees, just vote for them and I will of course add them to this list.

    Nominees
    Atlas Bear (Domino mini)
    Augusta Bromes
    Aura (Major X)
    Cardinal (POX)
    Cylobel (POX)
    Fauna
    Fish (Marauders)
    Krakpher (Krakoa/Cypher hybrid)
    Major X
    Moneta (AoXM)
    Nimrod the Lesser (POX)
    North, aka Pestilence
    Rasputin (POX)

    Comeback of the Year
A brand new category! Pick three characters/teams who had their first appearance since years! Who came back from the land of the dead or comic-book-limbo that you were most happy about? One rule, they had to be gone for at least a year. I will add votes for other candidates to the list.

    Nominees
    Bella Donna
    Candra
    Cyclops
    Destiny
    Doctor Nemesis
    Fabian Cortez
    Hellion

Favorite Mutant on the Cast of a non-X-book
Which non X-Men mutants, who are staring in non-X-books, or (former) X-Men has now starred as cast member in a non X-Men title, were your favorites? Now here we are not talking about a guest star role, but being part of the series casts.

    Nominees
    Broo (Agents of Wakanda)
    Devil Dinosaur
    Doctor Nemesis (Agents of Wakanda)
    Dust (Champions)
Emma Frost - Jessica Jones Purple Daughter
    Franklin Richards (Fantastic Four)
    Kid Omega (West Coast Avengers)
    Molly Hayes (aka Bruiser, Runaways)
    Namor (Invaders)
    Wolverine (Savage Avengers)
