Which mutant (boy or girl) has a camping or hiking or fishing personality, without being militaristic?

The boy scout, not the minimalist survivalist.

The les stroud, not the bear grylls.

The respectful enjoyer of nature. not the hippy nor the redneck.

The emerson not the Thoreau.

I know this seems like an odd question but I'm trying to figure out which mutant I connect with the most.

Cable is a little too military-style for me but Thunderbird is a little too "every tree has a soul".

I'd like to say I'm like Colossus; some what soft and caring and loyal and such. But I'm not a Russian nationalist either. Lol

I'll second this. Sam seems like a guy who would've gone camping with his dad before he passed away.

I was kind of thinking about this the other day. Though I was thinking of how we don't really have any hunters. I personally don't like to hunt, camp or anything like that but it is a common enough past time at least in the US. I think I saw a commercial for Hunger Games DVD or something. Then I went onto the thought that a lot of the X-Men don't really have hobbies that I know of.

This is so true, especially of the newer characters who aren't being fleshed out as well. Maybe a 'name or imagine your favourite X-Men's Hobby Thread'?

Anyhow, I'd like to add Synch's name to the list of campers. Ev was the most normal/boy next door x-teenager ever created, so I could see him liking camping just for the fun of it. Is there any good camping in St Louis? I don't know my US camping spot geography that well.
