The last syllable is pronounced as TYNE not TEEN.
I've recently read the issue of Swamp Thing where he corrects Alec Holland on it's pronunciation.

    What about Fantomex?

I've seen it pronounced as "Fan-toe-MEX" and "fan-tom-ex". I know it was based on Fantomas, given his whole theme of being "French".

It really should be more like just "CHUH-la".

The "T" is supposed to be an indicator of a hard "CH" sound.
In THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE, which I've only seen in Brazil, in Brazilan Portuguese the name is spelled as "Batman" but it's pronounced like Batchman.

Cthulhu is one that I always get wrong. H.P. Lovecraft intended it to sound one way, but I sound it out like it's spelled. When I was a kid, I got a lot of words wrong that way. There was a character in a comic book who had the name Socrates and I pronounced that Sock-Rates--it was a good ten years before I learned that was wrong.

    Yes, my phonetic was wrong.

The T' in T'Challa gets its own syllable, is not silent, and is not combined with the CH (there is no diphthong or triphthong). This is the point of the apostrophe.

The T is Lee and Kirby trying to create an "authentic" African sounding name and not understanding TCHAD was a French construct so that it wasn't pronounced SHad.
