I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

I'm afraid MRP already entered this cover.

Ok, I had a difficult time finding a cover. Which makes for a good challenge.

But I finally found this one.

Don't know how I missed that, edited above, to now be just a commentary on MRP's great cover choice.

CaptCleghorn, for the delicious meta-ness and humour of the cover.
«Speaking generally, it is because of the desire of the tragic poets for the marvellous that so varied and inconsistent an account of Medea has been given out» (Diodorus Siculus, The Library of History [4.56.1])

My vote goes to Nschornhorst as that cover got a chuckle out of me!

    Great covers all around!

In the spirit of the season, I'll have to give my vote to Nschornhorst.
