Default Wonder Woman and Flash reverting to legacy numbering

They've renumbered the solicited issues of Wonder Woman and Flash after their 750th issues. They're now keeping their legacy numbering instead of only using it for that one issue.

This isn't a shocker but it is welcome news. 750 is a big deal. Certainly the runs will probably run out for a while, get relaunched after a while, then get reverted when another big anniversary approaches, but I'm glad to see some #750s on some books.

I haven't been keeping tabs in a hot minute, but using Legacy Numbering where are we at with Batman and Superman? Gotta be approaching some anniversaries there, too.

EDIT: Checked Batman myself, couldn't resist. King's last issue, Batman # 85 ... also happens to be Batman # 850.

Also, Orlando on Wonder Woman gets me back reading that title.

Eh, meh, blegh. Legacy numbering is kind of small nothing burger in an attempt to push more sales.

They'll both be re-renumbered in time for their 100th issues next year...

For THE FLASH, are they adding together Wally's, Bart's, and all of Barry's post-FINAL CRISIS series?

If only comic fans/customers cared as much about and made their purchasing decisions based on what's on the insides of the comics as they do about the trade dress on the outside of the comics...

Comic fans get the comics their buying habits deserve.

    This is incorrect.

Flash Comics & The Flash vol 1. = 350 issues
    The Flash vol 2. = 247 issues
    The Flash vol 3. = 12 issues
    The Flash vol 4. = 52 issues
    The Flash vol 5. = 88 issues

    350 + 247 + 12 + 52 + 88 =749

So after #88 of the current volume, we get The Flash #750.

Annuals and special numbered issues (#0, #1/2, #1,000,000, #23.1 etc.) aren't being counted, because they never added to the issue count of the main series. The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive doesn't count either, because it had a different title and didn't add to the numbering of "The Flash" - when that series was cancelled the series resumed with The Flash #231, picking up the numbering from The Flash #230 the year prior.

Now do this for Batman. Superman I don't care as much as he's had so many series.
Pulls: Batman, Detective Comics, SiKtC, Catwoman, Nightwing, Titans, Godzilla, Wonder Woman, Batman & Robin, Brave and the Bold, No/One, Kill your Darlings, and Deviant.
My runs: Batman #230-, and Detective #420-

Yeah, Superman had a third book in the 80s, Adventures of Superman. That had the original legacy numbering and Superman had a new #1. When Adventures ended Superman resumed the numbering from that point. As a result, New 52 Superman was vol 3, whereas New 52 Batman was vol 2. Of course, the relaunch when Bendis took over started vol 5, while Batman is still on it's Rebirth volume.
